"We had a wonderful stay at Torel in Guimarães. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The location is ideal for exploring Guimarães, with easy access to the historic center while still feeling like a quiet retreat. Overall, this was a standout stay and we would absolutely return. "The reason I gave it 4 stars is because when I booked it it stated it had a bathtub but it was a shower. Also it said it had a hot tub but it was broken. The shower water was spraying everywhere. The wifi doesn’t have great reception tv doesn’t work as it can’t connect to wifi. Staff is very nice but it stated on website they speak Portuguese and English, no one speaks English there the owner did use google translate. It’s very clean and beautiful hotel. "
