The decor was plush a little old world that just added to the ambience of the stay. The staff very helpful and the restaurant serves excellent food. Easy walk from train station. Also a good gym I recommend a stay in Parma and if you do visit this hotel is a must

Large old style hotel, very grand inside. Lovely room with massive very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Buffet breakfast had plenty of choice. Only stayed one night but we were very happy with the hotel. It was easy to find and park the car and only a short walk into Parma

Good but needs some soul!

I like the Starhotel but my customers do not! They feel the the foyer has no atmosphere and it needs a bar . The front terrace should serve food and drinks also!

The accommodation looks great. Large rooms. Front counter people were very good. PARKING a shamble. There are some free spots out the front but they charge 16 euro to park underneath. This is not listed on their site. The wifi is non existent in the room. The water leaks out of the shower creating a pool on the floor. Breakfast, give it a miss.

Return to the past in a beautiful hotel

This is one of the old fashioned hotels which are well preserved until today. The furniture, decoration, floor are very nice and makes you feel like you are in the 60's. The room is clean, the beds are comfortable, the breakfast is excellent. When you park, there is no sign saying that you have to pay for the parking. When we checked out they told us that we have to pay 15 Euro for 1 night parking and we refused because no one told us about that charge in advance so they were honest and did not charge us. This hotel is highly recommended.
