There are many option for lodging in this area. This resort is unfortunately understaffed. I called and asked for fresh towels - nobody showed up. I called again in the morning and the poor girl at the front desk told me I would have to wait until 8:30. I told her I needed to get to the ferry - she said she would have to lock up to bring me towels. I needed access to laundry for my trip… and the place came with a one load laundry soap package. On the second night I asked for more and I was told they were out. Was it completely awful? No it wasn’t - but there are enough other places in the area that I won’t stay there again. I think they just need to dial it up a bit.

Beautiful resort with exceptional amenities, pool, hot tub, kitchenette with but comphy beds! I might add very friendly staff with a smooth and simple check in and check out.

It was WAY TOO hot and no window, no view, could not sleep in that heat, no vent , no control , shower was broken ,noisy, not good at all....only hot tub was good and front desk person....

I enjoyed here but as I was only staying one night a 4pm check in to me is extremely late, with pool facilities and an early start the next day 4pm doesn't allow any time to enjoy being there.

VERY DISAPPOINTING
Check in was fine. Went to our room to find it was a tiny dark little room with no windows other than a little sliver of one that looked out to the parking lot. Tried to phone the front desk but the phone didn't work. When looking to see if it was plugged in, found an empty chip bag beside the bed. The air conditioner unit was a portable one right beside the head of the bed. Went back to reception and Mark helped us get a new room which was upgraded to a junior suite which was much better other than the fact it didn't have a/c which made it extremely hot. Mark came to our rescue again and brought a fan which helped a little. We were under the impression that it was beachfront where we could sit and relax. That wasn't the case. It was nice to sit by the pool after a couple of days of travelling. Unfortunately, the bed was extremely hard which made it impossible to get a good sleep. So glad we only were booked in for one night. Certainly wasn't what we were expecting.

Sunrise Ridge Waterfront Resort was the best value I have had in a hotel in a long time. For a very affordable price, I had a beautiful room that was clean and modern, and included good hotel shared amenities (pool/hot tub). Additionally the staff were incredibly kind and helpful.
10/10 would recommend, and will go back.

Room was clean and modern. Lighting was very poor in the bathroom, difficult to put on makeup etc.
No room service on second day, room not cleaned.
Shower was missing a the door, unless the intention was to get water all over the floor.

Weird room design, zero noise insulation
Room had zero noise insulation. Felt like people next door were in our room. Massive gap under main door added to the noise from next door. Window and side door onto the outdoor hallway was also noisy and lacked privacy. Room had no temperature control so we had to have the portable AC on all night, which was also noisy. Not a great night. Modern clean room was only positive
