"At no point was I informed that weekend housekeeping is only available upon request. Even after I checked back into both rooms again on Saturday, no one mentioned it. I stayed Friday, Saturday and Sunday in a room that was never vacuumed, never cleaned, the beds were never made, and the towels were never replaced. By Sunday I was so frustrated that I took the trash out myself. The only thing the front desk agent did was hand me clean towels, and she seemed completely unconcerned about leaving us for a third night in a dirty room. I have never had such a bad experience at a Marriott."

It wasn't our first choice, but late planning will put you in a pickle when there's some kind of convention in town the same weekend, we had a wedding.
