"This hotel is very old and not well-maintained. Tiles inside the room and toilet bowl are broken, moldy toilet, etc.

"We got there on the first day and advised that we couldn't use the pool as they were throwing a pool party. They said the pool would be available the next day. It was not available until 3pm the next day and even then the place had not been cleaned up. It's a no smoking building but the workers were smoking while cleaning up. The shower flooded part of the bathroom each time we had a shower. The room at first sight looked clean but upon further inspection was quite dirty especially in the corners. It's central to the tourist sights which is a good thing. It's one of those places where you would only stay a day max two before you move on "
"Not great. We stayed via perfect hosts, who weren’t exactly perfect.
The hotel is tired, with plaster falling off of the walls. When we got to the room the floor was grimy, with marks and dirt. The toilet seat was broken and when I reported this, within 5 minutes of entering the room, no one replied to my messages. Then at 3 am we heard Easter, turned in the lights and the aircon had decided to dump litres of water out over our the desk with our belongings, phones and the T.V. After having to leave a 100 MYR deposit incase of stains in the towels or bedsheets… I think they should have paid me a deposit.
