We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was exceptional, and the hotel is centrally located within walking distance of the major sites. Breakfast, served on the lower level, was excellent and a great way to start the day.

Excellent location and staff! Overall very nice hotel, but there were several quirky things worth noting with our room in particular. The bathroom was wide open to the room which required showering in full view of each other. There was no way to turn on the bathroom light in the middle of the night without illuminating the entire room and waking up your partner, and the air conditioning was very cold with no way to control it directly. There was also a very dangerous step up within the room that we tripped over numerous times and almost wiped out. The tub appeared to be designed for someone with a height of 6 feet or greater and also presented some safety issues. Despite the "quirks," it was a great stay with lots of restaurants and excellent customer service!

Nice hotel but, be warned, the design of our room meant there was no bathroom door. The bathroom was effectively an open part of the bedroom. You could close the entrance partially by keeping the door of the wardrobe open and there was a shower curtain, but it was not very private. .

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we had a great experience with Laurent who offered his assistance and recommendations without hesitation. All of the front desk staff were very welcoming. We booked a last minute room after a hiccup with our other hotel, and I was far more impressed with Select Hotel and their staff than the other one. I will definitely be coming back!

The hotel is opposite the entrance to the Sorbonne, so if you were visiting the University there is no better location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was adequate, but there were places that were not easy to reach but were visible where dust and fluff had accumulated. The plumbing needed attention. The toilet flush did not work correctly - most of the time, the water did not stop running and only stopped when the flush was pressed again. The bath (with shower) was only separated from the bedroom by an open screen. The shower curtain did not always stop water entering the bedroom and wetting the bed! The bath/shower controls were not correctly fitted and getting the shower to work without the bath filling took a lot of fiddling. The bed was comfortable but the room was never really dark because of lights outside the window and a nightlight by the door that could not be turned off. We only used the breakfast buffet once - it was alright, but not especially good value for money. The “bar” was not very inviting; I never saw anyone using it; we looked at using the bar once but it was overheated and empty so we went to a cafe next door,

Very helpful staff, there was no corkscrew in the room, but a member staff went out of his way to find one for us. Beautiful lobby. Great area, plenty bars, restaurants and cafes nearby. Will be back next year.

Great location and convenient to restaurants and bars. Easy walk to the Louvre and Notre Dame including all the shopping on Boulevard St. Germain. Staff was super helpful and friendly.
