The staff was welcoming, helpful and friendly . The room was clean and the bed really comfortable. With paper thin walls…. Quiet street at night. The bathroom/toilet/shower was tiny, I mean extremely super super tiny… Unfortunately our room was just above the smoking area and we couldn’t open the window when someone was smoking below. It was perfect for just two nights. Breakfast area is really small , but the quantity and quality of the food was good.

Wir reisen häufig in europäische Städte und wählen bewusst lokale 3‑Sterne‑Hotels. Dieses Haus werden wir jedoch nicht erneut buchen. - Durchgelegene Matratzen, die nur mit einem extrem dünnen Laken bezogen waren, machten eine erholsame Nacht unmöglich. - Winziges Badezimmer: Man kann sich kaum bewegen, der Einstieg in die Dusche ist nur seitlich möglich – genauso wie der Ausstieg. - Unpraktische Toilettensituation: Man kann nur schräg sitzen, da die Beine nicht am Schrank vorbeipassen. Insgesamt wirkt das gesamte Hotel stark abgewohnt und dringend renovierungsbedürftig. Für ein 3‑Sterne‑Haus ist der Zustand inakzeptabel. Es wirk eher wie ein Hostel.

The brakfast was good for the price, the room was a little smal but the staff was awesome. The italian restaurant around the corner was the star of our stay. Noise is a little loud but that is not an issue to me I'm a heavy sleeper.Location is good.

Although I was a little hesitant to book this hotel after reading some negative reviews, I wanted to share my experience in case it helps other travelers. If you’re an American visiting Europe for the first time, this hotel might be a bit of a culture shock and may not meet your expectations. European hotels, especially those in older buildings, are often much smaller than what many Americans are used to. If you’ve never stayed in a traditional European-style property before, it’s important to keep that in mind. For me, it was exactly what I needed. As a solo traveler, I found it clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the basic necessities. That said, the hotel is quite compact. The elevator is very small, and the shower space is limited, so travelers who are on the thicker side may not feel comfortable. I had a very large bag and it was very tight for me in the elevator. However, if you’re traveling light, don’t mind walking to public transportation, and are looking for a reasonably priced place to stay, I think this hotel is a great option. The staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay, which made a big difference. And it smells of fresh baked croissants in the morning! Considering the price, I felt the hotel did an excellent job. Overall, I had a positive experience and would definitely stay here again.
