Great location, extremely helpful staff. If I had it to do over again I’d pass on the breakfast at the hotel. 30 euros per day for 2 I don’t think was worth it. Otherwise I’d stay there again no question.

The hotel is in a great neighborhood, close to several subway lines, adjacent to the Marais, and very close to the Canal St. Martin. There are many wonderful cafes and restaurants to walk to, and a bustling farmer's market right outside the door on Tuesday and Friday.the AC was great, and the breakfast lovely. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfy.

My husband and I stayed in Paris for 2 nights at this hotel and though it is a bit dated, it had everything we needed. The room (standard) was small but was laid out in a way that made it very practical and easy to move around in. We were really only in the hotel to sleep so we weren't too fussy as long as it was clean and the bed was comfy and te most definitelt checked those boxes. Most importantly, this hotel is in an excellent location. So many restaurants and bars around and a market right across the street. Close to the metro station and easy access to get around. You could even walk to the sights if you really wanted. Overall, the hotel felt very secure and was everything we needed for our stay! Would recommend.

My stay at Hotel Saint Martin Bastille was wonderful from start to finish. The customer service was exceptional, warm, welcoming, and eager to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The room was cozy, clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a great night’s sleep. My recent five-night stay at this charming boutique hotel entirely elevated my Paris experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The front desk staff welcomed us with genuine warmth, offering excellent local restaurant recommendations and helping us navigate the metro system with ease. The room itself was a perfect blend of classic Parisian elegance and modern comfort. While typical for Paris, the room was intelligently designed to maximize space, featuring beautiful exposed beams, a remarkably comfortable king-sized bed, and a pristine, updated bathroom with high-end finishes. Major sights like the Louvre and Notre-Dame were easily accessible on foot. The daily breakfast buffet was another highlight, offering exceptionally fresh croissants, local cheeses, and perfectly brewed coffee. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough for anyone looking for an authentic, comfortable, and memorable stay in Paris. I will certainly be returning on my next visit.

It's a small hotel in a residential area, right by the Marais. Tiny elevator, small rooms and a very high tub that makes it difficult to get in and out. Other than that the owners are nice, breakfast is great and the crispy white linen are very enticing.

The rooms were a reasonable size for Europe and well equipped. You can walk to Marais district on about 20 minutes. Breakfast is available on site although we never tried it. There are several cafes close by. The farmers market is right across the street and happens twice a week. Off you want to shop this is not your spot!
