Staff was very friendly, and the room was very clean. The bathroom has been updated so the fixtures were in excellent condition. The tub is super deep!. We stayed there because it was close to the Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. It is an older building (no surprise) and the decor is a bit tired, but those details were not important to us.

Room was very small for a couple, we hardly had a room to place our 2 suitcases. No fridge, no kettle, no extra plugs to charge the phones, we found one on the bathroom that solved the problem. Taxes collected was too high 48 euros for 3 nights (at Venice our hotel collected only 21 euros for 3 night’s)

Check in/out was perfect. Transportation to hotel was fine too. The room is very basic. No air conditioner, only a standing fan was there, and that too was falling. I was at the 6h floor. Very small room, very basic room, no amenities, basic washroom, and suprisingly only 1 power plug and that too used for fan

Had a very enjoyable stay at the Hotel Metropol, very conveniently located 5 minutes walk from the Gare du Nord station. Reception desk staff were very friendly and helpful and gave me a quiet room which I'd requested. Room and bed was very comfortable and bathroom had all of the facilities I needed. Will definitely stay there again when I'm next in Paris

Hotel is in a great location, and cheapest in the area, but the place is older. Its just a place to sleep. There is no Air conditioning so plan accordingly to the weather, i was really hot during my stay and i couldnt be in the room due to that, and there is only 1 power outlet beside the floor of the front door, and one by the sink of the washroom. Those are the two main concerns when staying here.

It's the worst hotel ever we have stayed, only one socket in whole room.. Property is very old and not nice overall. The staff was nice overall.

Nothing fancy about the hotel, close to subway station and some of the main attractions in Paris, relatively clean, only issue in my stay was the water running all the time in the toilet, annoying at night. It’s strange that you have to leave your room card at the front desk every day when you leave; staff is friendly but there was an extra fee to be paid , maintenance fee or something (paid per day) and it was kinda sketchy to have to pay that on top of price for the room. Anyways it’s an average hotel if your intentions are basically go to sleep there and shower after knowing all Paris.

No AC and that could be an issue on hot days. I've stayed in the area and love the convenience of transportation. Its walking to Moulin Rouge, Gare Du Nord, Sacré-Cour and metro lines to everywhere!!!!!
