The hotel itself was fine, however my car, along with others was broken into overnight in the garage. There was already evidence of previous break Ins (broken glass) so I parked near to the hotel entrance where the car would not be hidden from cameras.
I had to check out early (5am) so that I could make my car fit to drive and visit the police station. I returned to the hotel afterwards to request the use of a room to shower and change and was told it wasn't possible because the room had already been serviced!
Really ???? You can imagine my dismay. The response from the receptionist was "it wasn't our fault".
I knew that, but it was not the kind of customer service (or complete lack of) that I expected.
After escalating my request to the duty manager I was eventually allowed the use of a room to shower and change. As if my day hadn't started badly enough I had expected at least a modicum of empathy from the hotel staff ☹️
