A hidden gem
We stay in hotels all over Italy which can be a bit hit or miss. This place was stunning. I will use it as my regular stop off between my houses in England and Italy.

Una notte nel passato
La struttura e' nel Castello di Parella, recentemente ristrutturato per adibirlo ad albergo. Le stanze sono grandi e molto curate. L'attenzione all'ospite si vede da molti dettagli, come il messaggio di benvenuto personalizzato, il cesto di frutta e le bottiglie di acqua offerte dalla direzione, anche se la loro disponibilita' potrebbe essere legata al tipo di camera. Tuttavia manca, per esempio una presa USB. L'albergo ha due ristoranti, uno piu' informale nel bar -lounge ed uno decisamente piu' elegante ai piani superiori, con menu e prezzi diversi ma comunque non proibitivi. Alcune scelte lasciano un po' interdetti. Il primo ristorante e' passaggio obbligato per raggiungere le stanze di quel piano, per cui i commensali sono disturbati dall'apertura e chiusura della porta e dal passaggio di persone. Forse esiste un passaggio alternativo ma la segnaletica indica quello. Al ristorante elegante la tavola e' apparecchiata con tovagle stile "all'americana" e le posate sono posizionate tutte a sinistra. La sobrieta' dell'ambiente, l'importanza del luogo (bellisi i soffitti e affreschi) e la qualita' del cibo fanno subito dimenticare queste curiose scelte. Il vero punto dolente e' che, al momento, gli unici modi di trascorrere il tempo al castello sono paseeggiare nel parco ( ma d'inverno...), fare acquisti nelle boutique ( che non sempre sono aperte) o leggere un bel libro (ne sono disponbili molti). Sembra che la SPA sia in arrivo, e sarebbe un valore aggiunto utile.

Perfection!!!
Vistaterra exceeded my expectations in every way!! The renovation of the castle honors the beauty of its history with high-end, tasteful contemporary touches in a serene environment. The service was exceptional. Staff members were warm and welcoming and made you feel as though they could not do enough to make your stay unforgettable. We ate in one of the restaurants each evening. The food was outstanding in both presentation and flavor. Our four night stay went by far too quickly!!

Hôtel magnifique avec excellent restaurant
Un hôtel magnifique, des chambres immenses (nous avons pris la suite).
Le restaurant gastronomique est vraiment très bon et la carte des vins très intéressante.
La bâtisse est splendide, on se croirait dans un château!
Le rapport qualité prix est excellent.
Il manque peut-être une piscine pour vraiment prétendre aux 5 étoiles mais à part cela tout est parfait!

הכל היה מעבר למצופה, מקום מדהים ושרות אדיב של הצוות. חדרים מרווחים ומפונקים במיוחד. נוף מקסים ואזורי המלון מטופחים להפליא. נחזור לכאן שוב במהרה.

Un joyau difficile à trouver, mais superbe !!!
Même si le GPS vous dit que vous êtes au bon endroit, aucune pancarte indiquant l'hôtel n'est là pour vous assurer d'être à la bonne place... et les touristes passant dans le château, appareil photo à la main, vous incitent à penser que ce satané GPS s'est encore trompé !
Pourtant c'est bien là, dans un château superbement rénové, avec une belle terrasse, un labyrinthe de couloirs, un restaurant de très bonne qualité... et des chambres somptueuses (en tout cas, la mienne l'était !).

Except for the fact that the hotel was difficult to find (no signs anywhere indicating it’s existence and a car gps that couldn’t find it) our stay, though brief was excellent. The room was lovely, well presented, comfortable and perfectly clean. The grounds were perfectly well kept and quite marvelous. We will almost certainly return.

Hotel très agréable, l'accueil est très bien et les locaux (restaurant, cave à vin, restau gastro) sont propices à de belles aventures
L'espace est magnifiquement restauré avec beaucoup de charme.
Profitez en car hotel ouvert seulement depuis Novembre après 6 ans de travaux donc les prix vont grimper
