"This is a 4*, but operates at least as 4.5*, and maybe lower 5*. Staff bright, energetic and helpful. Breakfast good (but not great). Room is large and comfortable, with great view. Parking under hotel. Very centrally located and very convenient. Mall across the street. Hotel restaurant quite good and very reasonably priced, although dishes tend to be bland. Definitely a great place to stay. (but room lacks outlets, surface areas, temp control) Good and inexpensive Vietnamese restaurant very close. Lots of other places to eat nearby.

"We booked an ‘arty’ room, really comfy bed and nice & quiet.
Secure overnight parking, ideal stop off point from France to UK.
A little out of town but if it’s just a rest stop you need then it’s ideal.
Really nice bar area, super dog friendly & nice food served in the restaurant (opens at 7pm and food isn’t available before that, although the lady behind the bar kindly heated us up a pizza as we were ravenous!)
The service in the restaurant was slow, an hour’s wait between starters & mains, not ideal and it wasn’t just us. All staff really nice though.
We’d definitely stay again. "
