A pousada é rústica, bonita... Bem selvagem. Se vc não gosta de bichos, não é uma boa opção. Lá tem de tudo mesmo e o dono diz que são tranquilos, nunca fizeram mal pra ninguém. A porta não fechava direito, meu marido foi comprar veneno pq vimos alguns bichos antes de entrar no quarto, inclusive uma cobra d agua. Nosso quarto estava sem luz, precisamos falar com alguém e a recepção não funciona, não fica ninguém. O Pedro que é o dono mora próximo dos quartos e fomos até a casa dele pra pedir pra trocar a lâmpada. Não tem televisão em nenhum lugar da pousada, a internet não funciona direito, o tempo com chuva já há vários dias, fez a gente adiantar o checkout. Dá pra ir andando até a praia, o chuveiro é quente e a roupa de cama é limpa.

An interesting mix between a resort and a hostel

Paraty Paradiso is nicely placed in a large green and flowery garden in the village of Paraty Mirim. The staff and owners are generally helpful. The place is an interesting mix between a resort and a hostel. In terms of layout, the garden and the units are resort-like (although the furbishing of the units is relatively simple). However, in terms of service and amenities the place is more like a hostel (which may be convenient, if you are prepared, and especially if you have access to bring your own food to cook). Contrary to the information on the Hotels.com site, there is no restaurant (although breakfast can be bought). There is a communal kitchen, however you would need to bring many of your own utensils. The village offers very limited options to buy food to cook, so be prepared to bring your own (easiest if you arrive in a car). The number of restaurants in the village is quite limited, especially for dinner. For lunch, the bars at the beach serve some meals. Also contributing to the hostel ambiance is the fact that change of towels or stocking up of toilet paper does not appear to be regular. During my three day stay I received a fresh towel and toilet paper when I asked for it, but there was no replacement in the unit in which I stayed. The owners were very helpful in extending a credit when my original booking had to be cancelled due to the pandemic. Then, when I had to leave early and tried to reach out to them to discuss a possible refund, I never received a reply.

Casa da árvore para relaxar no verde

Passamos cinco dias no hotel, na Casa da Árvore, e foi uma experiência diferente de tudo o que tivemos! Muita tranquilidade, bom isolamento e localização boa próxima à praia de Paraty Mirim e ao cais de onde saíam os barcos (15min a pé). A pousada é muito verde e usamos muitos recursos: sauna, ofurô e cozinha comunitária. A Casa da Árvore é confortável, ainda que os recursos do banheiro fiquem do lado de fora da casa por conta da arquitetura mesmo. A vista é muito bonita e quando bate a brisa dá uma enorme paz de estar no meio das árvores. Os saguis vieram fazer uma visita no único dia em que levamos frutas para a casa. Em um dia pegamos vento forte que balançou a árvore e a casa, mas para quem nunca teve essa experiência já deixamos o comentário de que ela é firme e aguenta - parece um barco. Os passeios foram ótimos! Fizemos com a JTours e o barqueiro Nei, que foi muito atencioso. Resultado: um passeio reservado, tranquilo e bastante adequado para um momento de relaxamento na pandemia!

Ótima acomodação, muito aconchegante, os proprietários e sua equipe são bem atenciosos, á proximidade com a natureza é super agradável pra quem está procurando algo para descansar curtir a família. Único "problema" é ser distante do centro e a estrada de cascalho não favorece muito porém nada disso impede de ser um lugar super agradável familiar e gostoso

Extraordinary accommodation & amazing surrounding

Super friendly hosts, which are very helpful in case of any question. The surrounding in the middle of the jungle is truly amazing. The accommodations are nice furnished (book a room in the mainhouse or in the treehouse). The breakfast is very good, esoecially the coffee. Totally recommend this place to spend some time at the beautiful Plaia Paraty Mirim.
