「Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was disappointing. Some of the front desk staff were neither knowledgeable nor particularly helpful. 「The British Colonial has always been my go to hotel when traveling to Nassau. Let me tell you when I walked into that hotel (haven't been there in over 10 years), I was so amazed at the renovations. It is absolutely gorgeous. I can't wait to go back. As a matter of fact, I'm planning to return this Fall. You have got to check out this hotel. It exceeded my expectations. Thanks so much!」

「I will prefer staying in Atlantis, not this hotel. This hotel must need renovations, the AC is very noisy, room is dirty, the bathroom door cannot be shut properly, need to walk a long hallway to the lifts It is not worth at this high price of USD 900 2 nights」

「Room was clean, staff was excellent and although there is just one restaurant on the property, the food and food choices were excellent. It felt like we were on our own private beach. The infinity pool was very nice as well as the bar/ food at the pool. This will always be the first choice when visiting Bahamas. I also got a spa treatment while there and that too was excellent. Just keep in mind that it is not an all inclusive resort so you will pay for everything separately.」

「Although the staff was very nice, we were not very happy with the rooms. The decor was nice and the kitchen had everything needed but… Our first room was not cleaned well. The bathroom grout was dirty and the carpet sticky. We moved to another room and although that one was very clean there was an issue with the air conditioning. The room was always very humid. Our clothes felt humid all the time. As soon as you opened the door you could feel the humidity smell. Although they came to check on...

「July 4th party during the day and fireworks and night made for a very memorable 250 year celebration, staff did a fantastic job all around. Learn the layout before you go so you’re not wasting time in one spot, explore and save some key spots and avoid the cabanas, total waste if you ask me. Food and drinks very expensive at most but got hang of it, BBQ place outside, pizza bar your friend, beers by the bucket thank you, sushi place 2 nights fantastic all overate! Casino packed at night awesome...

「Well laid out property. Villa was clean and perfect for our group of 8. Staff were all friendly. We loved the garden and access to fresh eggs. Starbucks and strip mall with grocery store are a 5 min walk. Loved having a washer/dryer on site. Two small things: hot tub, never really hot, more like luke warm and one of the beds was well past its prime but other than that no complaints. This is a great place to stay!!!」
