POSITIVELY "PENARTH"!

From the very start, an offer to help with our luggage, Andy and Lana were the epitome of a welcoming host and hostess. The "Penarth" was beautifully clean, well kept and our room was very comfortable. The breakfasts were good, freshly cooked and we found them filling. Absolutely no complaints emanate from our stay there and, additionally, we benefitted from the local knowledge which was happily passed on by Andy and Lana. Would we recommend the Penarth Guest House to others or return there ourselves in the future? The unhesitating answer to both questions is "Yes".

Brightened dismal weather

Parking not too easy to see at first , but no problem once tried . Great hosts , nothing too much trouble , even helped with reporting lost Credit Card . Bright comfortable twin room facing the main road . The only slight disappointment was with the breakfast , only cornflakes as a well known cereal , also no fried bread or hash browns with the rest of the excellent full English .

Clean, welcoming, great breakfast!

Both Andy and Lana where very welcoming, room was clean. Breakfast was great, fresh fruit salad! Not a tinned orange in sight! Poached duck egg was wonderfully cooked. Looking forward to using again!

Wonderful

I'd definitely recommend booking Penarth. We made day-before reservations and were more than pleased with our stay. Everything was ready for us in advance of our arrival. Andy and Lana were helpful in providing recommendations, information, and leaflets about the area. They're really wonderful hosts who go the extra mile to make sure everything in the house is attractive and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and the room was well-equipped. A two-minute walk to the bus stop and twenty-five to the beach, as well as the Eden Project, it is conveniently located in beautiful Cornwall. Thank you so much, Andy and Lana!

Andy & Lana are grear hosts! Makes you feel really welcomed. The room and facilities are really comfy and complete. Light switches are strategically placed. The toilet even came with a bidet! Highly recommended!

We received a very warm welcome from the owners before being shown to our room. Our room was large, immacuately decorated and very clean as was on the ensuite. In the morning, we were spoilt for choice for breakfast and high quality products were used for our full english breakfast. We would definetly visit again.

Penarth Guest House - review

Two friendly proprietors. One minor observation - at breakfast Andy, the proprietor, tended to "hover" around the guests. I'm sure that he does this to ensure that the guests get prompt service, but I think that both he and his guests would be happier if he could change this aspect of his behaviour, maybe by attending a short course in restaurant service that would help him to understand how to fix this issue.

Andy and Lana were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel very welcome indeed. The accommodation is too a high standard and spotlessly clean. Our bedroom even had a sea view.

Brilliant weekend

We stayed for the weekend as we were going to a gig at the Eden Project (within easy walking distance) and it was great, the hosts Andy & Lana were so friendly you instantly feel at home. The cleanliness was first class and the breakfast so tasty. Would recommend highly.
