Good choice for staying with children

Very cozy hotel. There is a territory for sports activities with children. I liked the restaurant by the pool. The Internet works well. Friendly staff. The beach is not the best, but right next to the hotel there is a bus stop that will take you to Corallia Bay. I recommend this hotel for a holiday with children.

Solo stay for a week in October for some sunshine and r&r. Ticked all the boxes. Was allocated a 2nd floor room facing the sun for most of the day which I had asked for. Fabulous communication before arrival (last minute booking). Hotel arranged a taxi from the airport which was great as arrived late at night. My room was spotless and stayed that way the whole time I was there, housekeeping staff do a fabulous job. Pool area was clean and quiet most of the time, could move around with the sun if wanted to as plenty of space. Buffet breakfast has plenty of choice, pastries a little dry, always greater by friendly staff. I felt perfectly safe staying there on my own and loved the expansive book swap library!

Lovely stay

Had a lovely stay, didn’t realise there was no lift so we exchanged our beautiful 2nd floor sea view apartment for a grounf floor facing the pool. One comment about the apartment is a minor annoyance. The bathroom door opens directly onto the washbasin with very sharp handles that are difficult to negotiate round. We both ended up with bruises on our arms.

Cosy hotel with family atmosphere and a beautiful seaview. Never overcrowed at the swimming pool. Clean and tidy, with everyday cleaning and making up the beds. Staff is friendly, although some are a bit short. But never unfriendly so maybe something cultural. On the first day we got another room (ground floor without seaside) due to overbooking. But since we arrived in the evening this was no issue. We were also offered a compensation like a free drink at the bar and a free breakfast and the next day we had our seaside room. A very professional approach. If we ever come to Cyprus, Helios Bay will be our first choice. Highly recommendable.

A little stay

The check in was great even though we arrived over 2hrs early they had the room ready the pool and area was great and the walk down to beach was nice. The food and drinks found good value. The only complaint was the air-conditioning in bedroom was poor and the electrics kept tripping when using hairdryer. But was a good little stay

Heel leuk is het wandelpad langs de zee en de locatie van dit hotel, mits huurauto. Zelf verbleven we in een 'villa', huisje langs het hotel. Op zich prima, alleen wat achterstallig onderhoud en een terras zonder enige inspiratie.. Het personeel is ook wel heel vriendelijk, zwembad prima, poolbar ging pas onze laatste dag open dus kan ik weinig op zeggen.. we hebben een fijne vakantie gehad!

Pobyt w hotelu uważam za udany, cena adekwatna do standardu, jedynie można mieć zastrzeżenia do monotematycznych i słabych śniadań, ale widok z miejsca ich konsumowania rekompesował ten minus.. czystość pokoi utrzymywana na 5+. Posiadanie auta pomaga w przemieszczaniu się i nie traceniu czasu na jazdę komunikacją miejską, która mimo tego, że przystanek jest przed hotelem to restauracje warte uwagi są niestety nie na miejscu..

Comfortable and clean with beautiful views

The Helios Hotel was a hidden gem. The value of the off season pricing is wonderful. The apartment was very clean and had a great view from the balcony. It’s a $15 Euro taxi into Kato Paphos or just $1.50 Euros taking the bus directly across the street. The so close for a few months during the “off season” as do some of the surrounding businesses within walking distance. The food at the pool bar was surprisingly really good! The owner was very nice and friendly. My only complaints are that the pool is not heated so even though the weather was lively it was still too cold to swim in. Also I asked the front desk to tell the housekeepers not to disturb as there is no do not disturb signs to hang on the door and it was either not communicated or the maids didn’t care, as I work remotely it was pretty annoying to have them come ringing the bell 2 times daily, and just open the door while I was still sleeping after a late night. It would be great if they made the actual rooms nonsmoking but the smell wasn’t too strong. Even though there was a phone it was not plugged in or working lol. There was an oven but I couldn’t figure out how/if it worked, and couldn’t call the front desk on account of the phone situation lol.

Really enjoyed our stay. Our last day was the end of season so bar was only open a few hours each day. Lovely to eat outside at breakfast & lunch. Great views. Ate out at the pub down the road & the Indian opposite. Both recommended. Room was spacious.
