"The location is really good. The hotel was clean. The choice of bright ugly yellow walls in the halls is shocking. I can't imagine a corporate designer choosing that. Most staff is very polite and accommodating. Wish I had gotten the name of one employee- very direct and almost abrasive on the phone with any request. If you are accustomed to Lubbock hospitality, a conversation with her will disappoint you. "

"The hotel was clean. The check in process was horrible. Our reservation could not be found, then there were issues running a card for incidentals (despite pre-paying online). After waiting 45 minutes, we finally left to get dinner and came back later to check in. There was only 1 staff member on duty and probably 8 people waiting to check in. No one else was able to solve the problem."

"The breakfast was wonderful! Manager’s Happy Hour was nice - entertainment both nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy but the shower/toilet area was small. Only complaint was the temperature in our room - it was too warm making it difficult to sleep. The a/c couldn’t seem to catch up. The night manager brought us a fan which helped some. Not sure if maintenance ever looked at it since we were not there during the day. "

"There was no bed linens for the pull out sofa in the room. When my husband went down to get them, the front desk did not even give him any pillows. :("

"Hotel smelled terrible in the hallways and made its way into the rooms. Booked hotel for indoor pool and it was closed. Staff would not change our room or offer a refund. Don’t waste your money. "
