Room was clean, beds comfortable, staff was helpful, food at restaurant nearby was good, and outdoor lighting was kept to a minimum so stargazing was fantastic. It suited our purposes perfectly.

Perfect proximity to park. Amazing stargazing right on property. Extremely friendly staff. Exactly what we needed at the end of long drive/hikes.
Extremely accommodating staff, the glamping tent was great!

There is no television and wifi is spotty, and only available at the restaurant and convenience store, so bring something to entertain yourself with in the evening. Staff are helpful and the restaurant is good

Convenient for our hiking adventure, staff is fantastic, but this property could use some modernization. I would have expected in room adjustable A/C at a minimum. I got lucky and got one of the rooms with WiFi - ask when you reserve if this is important to you. The store next door is handy!
staff was so great! shoutout to alyssah for being so nice and welcoming!

The staff was very courteous and nice. I appreciate the grooming products. Across the road from the beautiful desert landscape with sand dunes I. The background we saw beautiful rocks in all different shades
1 person. Stayed in a tent, mid March. Comfortable (slightly lumpy) cot. Was comfortable with one blanket. But the Men's common bathroom really needs a cleanup. Urinal smells. Used the shower on the right which doesn't drain well and has hair on the floor. Rather disgusting. Please seriously clean the men's room.

What a beautiful spot! The cabin was spotless and the staff was so nice. Amazing way to start our trip to death valley.
Great little cozy stay near the entry to Death Valley. Friendly, great restaurant - all that you need.

It is a good stay inside the park. There are not a lot of options. This place is OK. The room is very simple and everything looks old. It has some kind of smell. It is better than tent and has its own bathroom. I guess you shouldn't expect too much in Death Valley
Nice property and very friendly staff. We had a good time and would come back.

Room was clean and in good condition but sparse. Could you a picture on the wall and a coffee maker would have been a major plus. I expected a cabin but it was just a building with several rooms together.
We came for star watching but unfortunately our RV neighbors put on the brightest light they had for their convenience but it destroyed the dark sky.
Restaurant was actually pretty decent and server Dwight was extremely pleasant.
Overall I would have preferred lodging in Lone Pine or Furnace Creek but that is just my preference.
Loved the setting. Staff super-nice. Stand-up glamping tent very clean. The only downside was that the walls of the tent were loud as they shifted in the wind, keeping me awake for a while.
We booked for two nights in tents, unaware that the bedding provided was not adequate to protect against the cold nights. Combined with the need to walk to the bathroom (which was not in good condition) and the lack of electricity, we were unprepared to stay there a second night, but the management were very kind in upgrading us to a heated motel room with bathroom and two double beds for the second night, for which we paid the difference in price. I think it would be wise to include some warning about the conditions for tent camping in winter; it would have been much more survivable with sleeping bags.
