Horrible. The establishment was closed (August 2021) when we arrived. The hotel charged my credit card only to find out when we arrived, the hotel was empty and abandoned. Never again!

We showed up in Panama City at 9:30pm, right before curfew started and found that this hotel was closed even though we were allowed to make the reservation. Had to find a new place to stay for 5 nights wandering around a foreign city after curfew with our luggage at night! Terrible, terrible experience. And then after talking to Expedia about a refund the hotel refused to give us any refund.

Good location

Hotel is a little worn but walking distance to restaurants. Has coin laundry on pool level which is great for multiweek travelers. Would.stay again.

Terrific and Reasonable!

Great spot, great price! Has everything you need including a delightful breakfast. Has a coffee bar and snack shop. Nice location too! Room updated in that cool spartan look.

Great Hyatt Place

Loved Panama City and the Hyatt Place city was an excellent hotel at an excellent value. It was in there heart of the business district only 1 block from their new, clean, and cheap subway travel across town. While not enabling anywhere public transport, the subway will get you closer to various places for a cheaper taxi or Uber ride. Very nice hotel, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Definitely would stay here again.

Very comfy bed and pillows. Nice view, good service at front desk. One Evening and morning without water to shower or wash. Not happy. Something should of been given. No towels at pool all 3 times we were there or no one to order stuff from at pool . Otherwise the room is fine . Nice to have fridge and coffee
