I booked this hotel through Expedia for a weekend getaway with my family, including my newborn baby. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and concerning.
The room was nothing like the photos online—the bathroom constantly smelled like fecal matter, there were roaches crawling in the bathroom, and the bedsheets had visible dirt on them. It was clearly not cleaned or maintained properly.
The worst part: I woke up in the middle of the night with what appeared to be a painful, swollen bug bite on my foot (photo available). It developed into multiple small bumps and caused me discomfort for the rest of the trip. This made me extremely anxious about the hygiene and safety of the room, especially with my newborn sleeping there.
Thankfully, I kept my baby wrapped in her own clean blanket close to me, and she remained safe—but I should not have had to worry about that in a hotel room I paid $700 for just 2 nights.
This hotel was unhygienic, misleadingly advertised, and unsafe for families—I do not recommend it. I have contacted customer service requesting a full refund and will be disputing the charge if necessary.
