They should build a walkway to the parking garage like the other hotels in the area. That way people dont have to nearly get hit by crazy people driving down the main road.

This will be my "go to" hotel whenever I am in PCB! I have never encountered a staff as friendly as the ones at this Hyatt. Everything is super clean, the room was spacious. The beach chairs were an extra perk too.

My son LOVED the lazy river. The men who set up the beach chairs/umbrellas were great-checked on us at least twice asking about shade adjustments and even helped us with our personal Umbrella set up. Every staff member I encountered was wonderful.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was truly excellent — from the beautiful accommodations to the outstanding service. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we felt relaxed and well taken care of throughout our vacation. One small detail we noticed is that there were no facilities on the balcony to hang and dry wet swimsuits. A simple addition like a foldable drying rack would be very helpful for guests. Aside from that, everything was perfect! We especially appreciated the shaded area of the pool — it was such a nice feature to be able to relax out of the sun during the hottest part of the day without having to go back to the room. Highly recommend this hotel — we would definitely love to come back!

The hotel was awesome the amstaff was great. I just hate that I did not get the room I booked through the site. Expedia swindled me and I am very disappointed. I booked a beachfront with balcony. I did not know beachfront does not overlook the beach or ocean and there was no balcony at all. I was told by staff no balcony rooms had been available since May. They said they have this issue when booking through Expedia all the time. There was nothing they could do to accommodate me. Not on the hotel but Expedia should definitely be more transparent.

We only stayed one night but it was a wonderful experience. Love the beach. Tons of food options within walking distance. The room we stayed in was on the 8th floor. Typical room, small and pretty basic but overall clean. Cleanliness is one of the most important parts to our experience. The ocean view from the balcony was amazing. Access to the beach for ocean swimming was great. We used their beach towels, showered off afterwards and then jumped into the hotel pool. Staff was friendly and everyone seemed happy, both guests and staff. The only negative that we encountered was outside the property. Panama City Beach is very conservative and the political views are advertised within some of the shops, restaurants, and people driving their golf carts with flags that indicate their political views. This creates an additional vibe to the beach experience that is just a bit weird. This of course is outside the control of the hotel, which was exceptional. We would definitely comeback to this hotel for a longer stay.

Not what I expected from a "Hyatt" but was ok. Lobby is nonexistent and unimpressive. Hotel itself is very basic and not very "Hyatt" feeling. Staff were just ok (nothing special) going about there daily routine. Like most hotels these days, housekeeping is sparce (once in a 4-night stay) yet reminders everywhere to tip? Sheets and floor felt sandy from day one and no hand soap. Wifi is weak. Location is good. Pool is small and gets crowded quick. Unless you get down there early, forget about getting chairs. Make sure you get cards for everyone (kids too) as you need them to open doors/push floor button on elevator - a bit of a PITA but I get why. While atmosphere was a bit dead, the best meal I had during the stay was at Coconut Charlies (God it was good) and while over-priced, so is everywhere else but here the food was really good. Overall, it wasn't bad but just felt kinda average.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place Panama City Beach / Beachfront, and it exceeded my expectations in almost every way. The location is unbeatable—right on the beach, with stunning Gulf views and easy access to the sand. The balcony rooms with ocean views are absolutely worth the upgrade. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spacious, clean, and modern, with a comfortable bed, a pull-out sofa, and a large bathroom. I appreciated the free hot breakfast, which included a variety of options like eggs, fruit, oatmeal, and pastries—plenty to start the day. Also, complimentary ice for your coolers. The pool area is a highlight, with a large pool, hot tub, and even a lazy river. There’s also a poolside bar with great cocktails and snacks, which made relaxing by the water even better. Parking was easy (they offer self-parking), and it’s close to restaurants, shopping, and Pier Park. Whether you’re traveling with family or on a couple’s getaway, this hotel really checks all the boxes. Pros: • Prime beachfront location • Spacious, clean rooms with great views • Free hot breakfast • Nice pool area with lazy river • Friendly staff Cons: • Can get busy during peak seasons • Pool chairs fill up early Overall, I would absolutely stay here again. It offers great value for a beachfront hotel in Panama City Beach!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Place Panama City Beach Resort! The hotel is in a fantastic location right on a beautiful stretch of beach. The rooms and facilities were spotless, and we really appreciated the convenient laundry services — a huge plus when you’re spending time at the beach. Beach access couldn’t be easier, and the pool area is great. The hotel is within walking distance to Pier Park, Walmart, the mall, restaurants, and Top Golf, making it super convenient for both relaxing and exploring the area. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to have housekeeping sweep or vacuum the floors daily. Even though I did my best to keep sand out of the room, it’s nearly impossible at the beach. Housekeeping services every other day (after the second day) are fine for most things, but as someone who likes to keep things very clean, I would have appreciated daily floor cleaning — or even access to a broom or small vacuum to handle it myself. Overall, everything else about our stay was top notch. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!
