Although they claimed that it was Expedia's fault, my two-day reservation was forced into two one-night stays. We were made to change rooms less than 24 hours after arriving. The inconvenience and the hassle of moving rooms ruined our stay there. We could not unpack since we would be moving just after waking up having been out very late for New Year's. I begged them not to do this to us. They said it was not their fault that they were completely booked and it was Expedia's fault but we were never told. If I had been told when I was making my reservation through Expedia that we would have to change rooms because they were filled, I would have found another place to stay. The check-in desk at the Tennis Club was telling me that was the reason that I should book directly with the hotel and not a 3rd party service like Expedia because the hotel could correct the mistake, but Expedia couldn't. I offered to upgrade I tried everything to get them to let us stay in the room for the 2 days but they kept claiming there was nothing they could do. When they called us to tell us what our new room number was, I asked them instead of moving us why couldn't they put the other people in the room that they were sending us to. I was told that it was because we were in the room of the owners and they were there. They kept saying it was Expedia's fault. Someone made a big mistake and ruined my trip.

Stay here!
It was our first time staying here and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. The staff was very nice and check in was quick and easy. We really liked how calm and quiet it was. The room was great, it was very clean and super spacious ( 1 bedroom suite ) we liked how they provided postcards with the hotel on it, it was a cute little touch. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel was excellent, service was wonderful, and very clean. Great views, decor from Old Hollywood, and quite historical for the area! The only thing that made it average was the AC wall unit. I was in Palm Springs on a 104 weekend. You feel it’s necessary to run the AC in that kind of weather ….. but the unit was LOUD. So loud in fact that I could not sleep throughout the night. This weekend, I chose heat over noise.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The staff was very pleasant upon check in/out. The property grounds are very well maintained and give such a old Hollywood feel. I enjoyed all the amenities they had to offer but didn't use them all; 3 pools and 2 Jacuzzi's,billiards, ping pong, free bike rentals and tennis/pickleball courts. There was a 3rd Jacuzzi located on the first floor in the middle of the resort but it was closed. Total hidden gem right behind downtown p.s. tucked up against the mountains. Our room was facing the mountain and was amazing! Only thing I could complain about but wasn't totally a big deal was the hours of the pool/spas and activities room closed at 10 and could be open longer. Overall i would definitely highly recommend and come back.

Second time I’ve stayed here. Only disappointment was on site restaurant was closed days we were there and the check out time at 10am. Other than that an amazing place to stay, fully equipped, all items included, plenty of on site activities, close to hiking trails and downtown.

Enjoyed the pool and courts. Our patio was very pleasant with views of the canyons and the courts. The only problem was a person from the balcony above us complained we were talking to loud! I thought we were just chatting in our regular voice. I felt a bit uncomfortable after that.

This is a hotel and tennis club full of history and true Palm Springs vibe. There is much to do in the vicinity of the hotel, walk to downtown Palm Springs, restaurants, etc. I first saw the club on a walking tour with the Palm Springs Historical Society-their walk and bike tours are great for learning about history and architecture.

I liked that the property was right near the mountains and the bungalows especially are really cute. I liked the pool area and the restaurant was great. The grounds were very peaceful and the staff were friendly. I was disappointed that the kitchens were fully stocked even with a coffee maker but there was no coffee or coffee filters or any way to even make coffee without having to go downstairs and get premade coffee. There was also no silverware in the hotel room but it had every other cooking utensil and dishware imaginable. There were hairs stuck to the back of the bathroom door and the headboard had a big piece of the covering torn off. But it is as otherwise a cozy and charming place.

The setting up against the mountain is so beautiful, and is walking distance to downtown. We loved the quiet adult pool option. The room was clean, spacious and had all necessities in the kitchen.

Great accommodations. Just a few minutes walking to downtown area. Pool, spa, game room, tennis, a great restaurant and free parking. The unit we stayed in was a roomy one bedroom condo. There were some small issues with a TV controller and a faulty toaster, but overall the place was top notch. Nice staff, and the surrounding grounds and landscaping was pleasing.

The layout of hotel is unlike any I've seen, with the huge room on the second floor, the open atrium, areas to sit out in the sun. I wouldn't have a room over the tennis court again, as I was awakened to the sound of bouncing balls and people yelling and laughing. Nice that they were having fun, but I wanted to sleep in!

The property has a main building and then there are more units in further off. Unlike the lovely lobby in the main building, the entrance to the separate units is a bit grim with metal gates/no garden/older furniture. While our unit had a clean bedroom and bathroom, the tub was peeling, and there was dried insect blood (at least I hope it was insect blood!) on the inside of the front door.
