「We believe this a family run hotel and restaurant. Neither of us speak Spanish or Basque but the welcome and help we had was superb. The hotel is in a convenient location. Our room was silent, comfortable and clean. We dined there in the evening, the restaurant has a good choice of reasonably priced items and wine was included with our menu. Breakfast was also plentiful. Perfect stopover or base to explore this beautiful srea.」

It included some of the region’s typical foods, which were very nice to have. Our host Rafa was wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. 「Maison de charme à quelques minutes à pied du centre de Santillana. Accueil vraiment très gentil et prévenant. La chambre était grande et confortable, style ancien mais pas vieillot. Parking très pratique car les grands parkings publics peuvent être remplis en journée (même si on doit toujours trouver une place qq part). Petit déjeuner varié mais produits essentiellement industriels, je l'ai trouvé cher, ça peut dépanner un matin mais à refaire je chercherais à le prendre ailleurs. Santillana...

「The apartment was beautiful and clean. We like it. The only few things we did not like was the bed was very hard, it was difficult to sleep well. The other thing was that they did not change towels daily. Otherwise, the place is very nice」

「This is our second visit here and it does not disappoint . The rooms are beautiful very spacious with super comfy bed, a great local breakfast for 10 euros . Walkable down a hill to the town in 20 minutes . Safe parking behind the gates . Highly recommended. 」
