Unique design. Good experience to stay as compared to teaditional hotels. Need proper upkeep and maintenance though - generally very dusty, doors are not working properly, safe is not working, many a times got no hot water supply and got to call reception, room telephone is spoilt - cant hear the operator talking, etc. Otherwise, staff are very helpful to resolve problems.

Whilst the property was ok there were a few issues. We werent informed that the villa we booked was 3 separate bedrooms with 3 separate entrances (not connected inside). Given we have 2 young children, this made things difficult. A conference party on the first night was also very loud until 11.15pm, which isnt too late, but it would have been nice to be informed after booking (the noise disturbed our kids). The bar didnt open until 6.30pm so it was difficult to have a drink by the pool before going out for dinner. Friendly staff though and great location, with a micro brewery down the road.

Not the 4 star experience you expect. Old facilities, Lots of rubbish in the garden, very poor breakfast (mostly aimed of Thai food) and location is far from any good restaurant. Every evening there was a lot of noise of Some feast.

wonderful garden but bed could improve.

The surrounding environment was amazing and the staffs/service was great. We like all of the amenities. The room where we stayed was a bit outdated but clean. Although we were not satisfied with the bed as it made squeaky noise when we tossed and turned. Bed was a bit stiff but we didn't mind. We plan to return but will have to check the bed. Overall good experience.

Wat een prachtige oase in een drukke omgeving is PhuWanalee resort! Sfeervol, schoon, goed verzorgd, rustig… het is een feest om hier te zijn! Het zwembad en andere faciliteiten worden goed onderhouden, het personeel is vriendelijk. Het is ook een bijzonder resort in de omgeving, lijkt het. Overal langs de weg staan moderne, westerse bouwwerken. Deze authentieke stijl zagen we nergens anders. Een goede uitvalsbasis voor een trekking in Khao Yai NP. Wij deden een tweedaagse met overnachting en onze tassen konden op de kamer blijven. Omdat deze de dag erna geboekt was door anderen, werden onze spullen voor ons verplaatst naar onze nieuwe kamer, zonder dat er daar om hoefden te vragen oid. Kamers worden hier sowieso elke dag schoongemaakt. Het is wel duidelijk denk ik: wij zouden dit resort absoluut aanraden. Een dikke 10! Let op: een auto is hier handig, want er komen hier geen taxi’s of tuk tuks, en lopen is er niet erg leuk. Hebben wij wel gedaan bij gebrek aan ander vervoer, maar je loopt dan langs de weg. Er zijn wel restaurants en een 7-eleven op loopafstand, en een dependence van en Thaise brouwerij (ong. 100km verderop), waar je een kleine bierproeverij krijgt bij aankomst: Hop Beer House. Je kunt er ook oké eten (Thais). Echte chocolade liefhebbers moeten natuurlijk naar The Chocolate Factory. Oh ja, en mocht je de was doen: kijk even vooraf naar de prijzen, want die zijn extreem hoog. Wordt gedaan door een vrouw uit de buurt. Wij zaten het te laat…

Nice little gem in the green

We stayed in the Thai villa 3 bedroom type with a jacuzzi inside with enough room for 6 people. We had a nice outdoor area between the rooms with tables and chairs to spend time together without sitting in public areas. Each room had their own bathroom. Comfortable resort on a side street to the main road. Nice and quiet with only natural sounds. Birds, squirrels and others. No traffic outside except an electric golf cart in the morning helping people with their luggage. Big swimming pool with a slide. Due to lots of tall trees in the area we saw leafs in the pool. Water pressure, hot water, aircon everything worked well. Breakfast good in Thai style buffet. Not so many western selections. We had a car so no problems going to seven 2-3 minutes drive away. Could definitely stay again.

2 Nächte waren mehr als genug

Bin letztes Jahr schon da gewesen, leider dieses Mal kein Vergleich zum letzten Jahr. Statt eines kleinen Bungalow, der durchaus frei war, gab es ein Zimmer im Haupthaus.Größe und Einrichtung war ok, aber alles sehr in die Jahre gekommen, die Dusche ließ sich nicht regeln, nur sehr starker Strahl, auch die Badewanne uralt und erneuerungswürdig und der Duschvorhang war alt und schmutzig. Die Handtücher ebenso sehr alt. Das Frühstück war mittlerer Durchschnitt mit Orangensaft, der seinen Namen nicht verdient hat, auch der Rest nichts besonderes. Alles in allem sehr enttäuschend zum letzten Jahr,wobei die Anlage mit dem Außenpool sehr schön ist

Comfortable & wonderful lodge.

It was amazing & fantastic, all around with flowers & trees. The room is tidy & clean, very comfortable, except the shower drainage is very slow , cannot enjoy the hot shower fully, the water will flow out to the toilet from the bathroom for just a one or two minutes. This is the drawback. The security is good & felt safe. The services are nice & quick respond , breakfast is good.

Le staff de l'hôtel nous a mis en relation avec un guide qui nous a accompagné pendant 2 jours, il n'a pas ménagé sa peine et nous a fait voir de nombreux animaux, que nous n'aurions même pas soupçonnés d'être là.
