Overpriced and run down.
Hotel was really run down with loose cables everywhere. No hot water in the shower. Great breakfast and friendly staff though.

Arrived at the resort at night and checked out the next morning, hence we did not explore on its facilities. We were welcomed by friendly and approachable receptionists at the lobby upon arrival. The room was spacious though it was rather old. The floor could be slippery if you wear the disposable slippers provided. There's only one TV channel available. Please bring along an adaptor if you are not a local. Love the quietness as we woke up hearing birds' singing. The taste of the buffet breakfast was satisfactory.

Decent Villa Stay
Location abit off the main road and quite inside. Villa entrance look grand and nice but not as well as I hope. Cater mostly to local residents. Breakfast was simple but they have an egg station and drink counter selection of your request such as Ice Ovalitine, coconut which was quite refreshing. Car park can be park directly at your block or around the grass patch which are great. Not much view even if I stay the highest 4th floor as I am facing a construction site. Room was big and air con powerful. But bath toilet have many small insects. Internet was okay but have to keep reconnect whenever back to room which was the hassle part. Generally a 6.5 out if 10 for me.

Scenic with caveats
Patravana is located near to PB Wine Valley and Bloom. It's scenic and cooling in that area. Important note: Do not drink the tap water or even boil it for sterilising your stuff! After boiling the water, there is a milky residue that forms. The bottled water that os provided is also not distilled or moneral water. Buy your own water!

Great grounds but poor room condition
The condition of the rooms is that if a 2 star hotel. Part of flooring missing to expose concrete floor and in need of paint. Missing shelf as well. The outside grounds are well kept though. But it seems like lipstick on a pig. Seems a theme that Thailand hotels get too high a star rating. I think this hotel was much overpriced in Thailand for this quality of accommodations.

Family holiday
Nice hotel, it is a bit away from everything, will definitely recommend that you have your own transport. We enjoyed the hotel and location. We Had a car to get around. Nice and friendly staff.

Very big resort with great surrounding
The resort is big with very good nature view. Hotel room is big, a living room with a basic kitchen together with microwave oven. The 1st night stay was unpleasant as the water heater is not working. Though the technician came over and rectified it, it's still not working well the next morning. Requested for a room change for my 2nd night stay and was allocated a new room swiftly. Wifi connection is unstable and weak. Breakfast serving is limited and basic.

A chill and relax environment.
You need to rent a car for convenience. The room is big n well kept but only the balcony sliding door having a hard time to lock it. The staffs is polite and helpful. The view is wonderful as we are facing the mountain. Overall is a good experience.

Lovely stay
Some other reviewers have it right, there could be more attention to detail. But you can say that in most places in Thailand, I have found. We loved the location, off the main road and near the wineries. We enjoyed our meal at the restaurant both for dinner and breakfast. We were here in off season and got a great deal. The breakfast buffet is Asian in style, but that worked for us. There were different offerings on each day and the coffee stand is fantastic! We loved relaxing in the infinity pool (towels are in the gym, not near the pool, that's weird) and there are floaties for everyone to us. It's about a 20 minute drive to the entrance of the park and that worked out just fine for us. The hotel arranged for a woman to come and give me a 2 hour Thai massage as well.

A relaxing stay in the Thai countryside
The Patravana Resort is a new hotel located outside Khao Yai national park, comprised of several multi-suite villas. The word "resort" tends to be a bit abused in Southeast Asia, we've found. Although the room was certainly nice, don't plan to be wowed by the other facilities. The pool is small but perfectly nice, the fitness center is very small, and there is just one restaurant with good food, but service on the slow side. Our kids loved the hotel's provision of fish food to feed the catfish from the large and pretty restaurant patio that sits over a pond.

A pretty new place. Really nicely done in terms of the big picture -- building design, layout, landscaping. Staff are very good, too. Restaurant (had dinner and breakfast there) is rather good. But it seems like the finishing touches were assigned to a cheap builder/lighting firm. So, for example, the lighting controls in the room are a nightmare. The furnishing/room decor is second-rate. The position and quality of the common area lights and garden lights is excruciatingly poor. This has the potential to be a four-star hotel in Khao Yai, but is let down by the finishing touches, so it feels a bit overpriced relative to its Thai peers. Yes, I'd stay again, but i would want a better deal on the price

A lovely gem in the heart of Khao Yai!
This is a lovely resort tucked away in a great neighborhood in Khao yai - close to all the wineries but far away from the maddening crowds. A perfect balance of location and amenities. The room itself is quite large with a separate living area, small kitchette, dining table for 2-3 people and a bedroom - over 600 sq. feet of space in both types of suites - the Patra and the Vana. The Vana has only one notable advantage - it comes with a jacuzzi. This was not particularly important to us so we opted for the other suite as it was the same size and had all the other features. Pros: Great little resort in a very central location vis a vis the wine district here. Spacious rooms with all the amenities you will expect in a 3/4 star resort Nice heated central jacuzzi for guests close to the gym Cons: Stock images supplied by resort are quite touched up and sadly, the main draw in the images - the wooden cottages and buildings - are not even a part of the resort! In fact, they are private properties held by separate owners. I wish they were a part of the property as the houses look lovely... Breakfast is a bit scant and really needs a complete revamp - many more items need to be added and more attention needs to be paid to having standard international cuisine incorporated into the breakfast. Currently, most dishes cater to local tastes, but this was not that big a deal for us as we liked the local cuisine but could be a concern to other travelers.

Excellent stay
We booked 2 nights in another resort by main road and decided to extend one more night in Khao Yai. Thought we try to stay somewhere else and booked Patravana. Oh what a regret that we didn't book Patravana for our entire stay in Khao Yai! Resort is in remote area surrounded by vinyards and nature, it was just so peaceful. Room was spacious and well designed, it is not super luxury but very comfortable, you feel like it's your own home with well equipped amenities. The breeze you get on the big terrace was amazing. Hotel ground was perfect and well maintained, felt like nobody was around and my 1yr old son enjoyed his strolling around the resort and swimming in the pool very much. Staffs in all area were helpful and efficient, attended our request right away. Food in the restaurant was reasonably priced, had variety of dishes available. We are definitely going back on our next visit to Khao Yai.

Tranquility in the mountains
Beautifully nestled in the mountains of Khao Yai, it offers peace and traquility. Resort taxi availabe for day trips to scenic sights. Some construction still going on at the resort but the management are fantastic and quickly resolve any issues. Not a lot of English spoken by staff and limited menu. We enjoyed our stay.

浴室はシャワーの固定金具が壊れていた。 また、浴室の窓サッシは何ヵ月も掃除していないと思われる汚れ方。 トイレは臭い。 朝食は品数はあるものの、あまり美味しいとは思えず。面白いのはたい焼きがあったこと、及び椰子の実ジュースがあったこと。 リゾート地域なので1泊15000円で宿泊したが、バンコクなら7000円程度の価値か。
