「The fire alarm went off @ 1:30AM. There was no communication from management & some of the guests on my floor discovered there actually was a fire in a trash can in the outside smoking area ( which left a dark suite mark on the building and melted a 5-6 ft section of the soffit.
The fire truck was not called and there was now communication from management about remunerating guests (e.g. by a discount on a night's stay in the future, etc) It was scary and quite disappointing.」
