We loved the lodge and the excursions. My one complaint was with the transportation provided back to Quito. The driver was driving far too fast for road conditions and several people ended up vomiting from car sickness

Super recomendado

I booked this lodge in November and arrived in march. Expedia did not inform them of my arrival (pre-payed ) All the staff do not speak English .I had to call my previous hotel for a translator .I showed them my conformation . They were booked out ,but made a room available to me for 3 lovely days. This is a very isolated area , a national park .Tulipe is a small town of maybe 50 people on a cobble road . What a peaceful place. they have historical dig sites all over the hills. a small museum...

Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve and Lodge is an amazing place to stay. They have extremely knowledgeable birding and wildlife guides and the people who work there are super nice. The food is great, although the options are limited. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Ours looked out into the cloud forest. Don't expect a luxury experience. This is a fairly remote location that is ideal for nature lovers and particularly birders. I would recommend getting a package if you go that...

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying with David at Tarrassas de Dana. The hotel is only 4 small bungalows. They are simply but elegantly designed and finished. The site if nothing less than spectacular. Gorgeous! Full of flowers, verdant mountains, hummingbirds and butterflies. David was a wonderful host and so very helpful. We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel served on the private porch of our bungalow. Both were excellent.

Our experience were perfect in some many ways, the employes were very warm and helpful with the reservations for the local attractions, the entertainment living room in the hotel with the games and the karaoke let us enjoy in a safety way, the room was excelent and very confortable, the absence of tv wasnt necessary, I will absolutely return there and recommend them. My only sugestion is to put a fan inside de room. Thank you for everything!!

It is truly a dream hotel if your dream is to sleep amongst tropical birds and plants. It was incredible to wake up to hummingbirds, toucans, and parrots every day. The rooms are wonderful and the food is great. Strongly recommend

I absolutely loved my night here. My only regret was that I only had 1 night! For sure I would return. Its just outside the city center which is fabulous if you value peace and quiet as I do. I loved the property that included a path to the river, hammocks, a lovely outdoor breakfast area, and a pool that had changing stalls and bathrooms. Even the walk to the river had bathrooms nearby and campsites which I would definitely make use of given the opportunity! The room itself is basic but very...

Todo es muy hermoso difrute mucho la estancia, la piscina el jacuzzi relajantes gracias por todo

The check in was the best. We arrived late and she accommodated us right away. Surrounded by hummingbirds and beautiful greenery. Breakfast was excellent. Great place to stay

Excelente servicio ! El Sr es muy atento y amable

The owners and staff were wonderful. The property was very clean but rustic. A perfect mix in the jungle. Only a short drive to Mendo and all of the wonderful things to do there :-)

Wonderful experience at the Bio Hostal Cloud Forest! Luis and his staff could not have been more gracious and helpful. The rooms were large, bathrooms clean and tidy. Excellent breakfast included in rate. Hummingbirds are on the terrace, the rural life with the chickens are out of a movie. yu The only thing that keeps me from a 5 star overall rating was the erratic wifi. However there are several places in the town where the signal was great. We would definitely recommend, and will return if the...

We were in Ecuador as it was a bucket list destination and we needed a place in the area and this did it for us, the place is great, defo worth trying it out.

There was plenty of birds and trails. The staff was very nice and helpful. The food was unexpectedly great. The road getting up to the reserve is a little rocky/bumpy but thats literally the only concern everything else was amazing.
