喜歡：入住和聯絡溝通
The property was a good walking distance to city centre in Oxford, which was positive. There was free parking on the street. Some nice Home accents were added however, the carpet definitely needs to be changed and overall the property was not well organized. There was only one hook in the bathroom for towels. The other one was ripped off, there is no conditioner or shampoo, the windows did not easily open, making it very hot and the Wi-Fi could be quite spotty. There is only one dish towel in the kitchen again these are the small oversights that can make a difference in a person stay. I would say it felt like the set up of the property was a bare minimum set up, but it was adequate mediocre accommodations.

We booked this property about a week before our planned stay in Oxford because the original property we booked suddenly couldn't accommodate us because of some kind of maintenance issue. I was excited about the property; it looked good in pictures and seemed like a great place to get over our jet lag from a long overseas flight. The host was great about communicating before our stay. When we landed a the airport, I contacted the host and asked if it was possible to check in at 2:30 instead of 4:00. I noted that I realized it was before the official check in, and that we were ok either way, but easier would be more convenient for us. I was told "sure". We arrived by taxi at 2:30 and used the codes provided to enter the property. In short, it had not been cleaned since the previous occupants. All beds slept in, towels on the floor, garbage on the floor, stale smells, dirty kitchen etc. I immediately attempted to contact the host to find out when the cleaning would take place. After not receiving an answer for 45 minutes, we, made a new reservation at another property nearby and left. After checking in to our new lodging, I finally received a reply from the host that the property was clean and they apologized for the mis-understanding. The amount of time in between our leaving that property and getting the message was pretty short. I'd be super surprised if the property was clean. Contacting Hotels.com did not resolve the issue, so we double paid for 3 nights.
