Older hotel staff very friendly breakfast is good & plenty but the gym equipment all broken & the business service out of order

The room seemed fairly cleaned. We had issues with the microwave and after asking two times I was finally told that I had to have the light switch on for it to work. The staff was very friendly and parking was sufficient.

First, the staff was friendly and helpful, but stretched too thin. Second, the hot tub and the pool was AWESOME! However, the property is on its way to being seriously neglected everywhere else. The tiles in our bathroom floor were loose and moving, so posed a small safety issue with elderly travelers and small children in my party. Had we not already switched rooms once because our originally assigned room had not been cleaned before we showed up, we would have switched rooms due to the tile and various other things (wall lamp falling apart and dangling, glitter and hunks of food all over the carpet, stained sheets on the pull out couch and a non-working microwave). But, like I said, the staff was great and brought us clean sheets, vaccuumed immediately and had the lamp fixed the next morning. The breakfast is edible and hot, but its not great. The workout room was closed and looked like someone had purposely vandalized the equipment. Everything else is fairly dated and run down and it smelled like weed pretty much everywhere. If we had to stay again, we probably wouldn't.

Great Staff!

Great Staff! Hotel was clean and convenient. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was great. Barbie at front desk was wonderful. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Owensboro.

The staff was super nice, but our room smelled like dirty feet, had loose tiles, hair in the "clean" shower, and it seems like there are people living at the hotel. But the sheets and towels were clean, the room was spacious and the breakfast was nice. You could tell the staff was trying to make guests stay comfortable, but the property was not well kept.

Barbie, Check-in Manager, was EXCELLENT She was friendly and did everything, including o changing our room groom 2nd floor to 3rd because of the horrific smell on the floor & our initial room. No coffee at breakfast Friday morning!! Windows, window ceils were filth dirty with black hook and bugs!! Screens on windows were shredded /torn.. No housekeeping Friday AM. Had to track down housekeeper to clean room, change sheets, scrub window ceils Extremely loud music and noise Friday night/Sat AM til 4ish kept my room mate and me awake ! I DO NOT RECOMMEND EXPEDIA INCLUDE THIS HOTEL ON ITS LIST. THIS FACILITY!!!

The personal in fixing the breakfast was helpful. All the staff was friendly. I had one day had to tell them to make my bed, they were in there earlier and didn't make the bed. I'm not for sure but I don't think they ran the sweeper or mop daily. Other than that, I was pleased with my stay.
