The only reason to stay here is because it’s close to St. Olaf. Half the time there’s no one at the front desk, while I’m sure someone is watching, it doesn’t feel that secure. Everything in the room felt junky and pieced together with old extension strips. I think this hotel has been around too long…

Sadly, the room was not very clean, the a/c heater unit only worked on fan. The buttons to adjust heat and cooling and on/off were gone. Had to unplug it to keep cold air from blowing all night. Got down to 26 degrees outside at night. Room was chilly. No hair dryer. Half used container of shower gel. Stained towels. Funky smell. Have upcoming business this summer in Northfield, but won't be coming back to this hotel.

Such a great deal for the money. Clean, simple, and the bowling alley next door has a great bar and restaurant.

For a 2 star hotel, it beat my expectations!! Staff is awesome, rooms are not that bad. A little old building and rooms not 5star level, but you get what you pay for . Would come here again. Easy parking as well.

Room was freezing. Turned heater on, took nearly 6 hours to get to room temperature. Shower water was cold. Smelled like cigarettes. Worst hotel breakfast ever. 6 pieces of white bread a toaster that didnt work. Nice people though.
