"Pleasant room with lovely view. Very well situated. Access to the funicular a real treat. Good range of food options and super breakfast. Staff all very friendly but poorly trained and managed. We were variously told that we could/could not have a kettle; could/could not use the new terrace area at all; could/could not have a drink there; could/could not have a meal there. Room service unreliable - we were missing towels, bathmat, toilet roll on different days. Muzak in the public areas was absolutely deafening."

"Well run hotel and restaurant little ways outside of the hustle and bustle of the old town centre. Therefor it is quiet. Super friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast buffet."
