"i made a mistake and reserved a smoking room. When I checked in, no non-smoking rooms were available. I could not cancel without losing all my money. The room was Horrible, but that smell was my mistake. The conditions of the room were what you would expect for this price. Much in need of new carpet, painting, and updating. If you don't make a mistake reserving a smoking room, and just need a bed and bath for the night, it will do; as long as you don't set your expectations too high."

"Gentleman at evening desk extremely helpful: changed my 2nd floor room to first floor when I commented that both I and my sister-in-law roommate both had “bum” knees. He even took my suitcase to the room for me. Excellent breakfast-best scrambled eggs I’ve ever eaten in a hotel. Friendly staff."

"The first room I was in had bedbugs in it, and they did switch me to a second room where the lighting was flickering throughout the night, which also smelled like smoke the male staff at the front while checking in I was very professional"

"For the cost, we were very happy with what we received. The hotel had a nice appearance upon driving in (it was surrounded by other similar, nice hotel properties (Staybridge, Courtyard Marriot, Tru Hilton, etc.) We mainly picked this hotel because it has an indoor pool AND a hot tub and both were very nice in appearance and function. The hours were great as well. 6A-10PM for the pool and if you're over 18yo, you can stay until midnight. Room was clean and the bathroom had lots of counter space. I would have liked a more accessible outlet by the nightstand however. Room had a mini-fridge and microwave. Bed not the comfiest but not bad. The breakfast included some hot items like scrambled eggs, bacon, and a WAFFLE STATION! Do not miss this - it's hidden around the corner from the rest of the food. Other items included cereal, bread items (bagels, toast, muffins), cold items like yogurt, cream cheese, and hard boiled eggs, juice. Fruit was just wrapped apples. Rooms are advertised as soundproof but we could hear the highway. Ask for a non-highway side room at checkin (room numbers ending in an odd number face the highway). Also, check out is noon! Anyway, definitely recommend."

"I was going to stay 2 nights but checked out first thing in morning. The first room was smoked in , not clean and the plumbing under the vanity was not up to code. The door needed a shove to close properly. The front staff was understanding and we got a little better room but on the second floor. There is no security doors to get in the hallways with key. The fire doors did not shut properly and trash barrels were in corridors .I assume to catch rain water or plumbing leaks. The lobby carport had been badly damaged recently. Outside looked bad but nothing loose or laying about but the plaster in the hallway inside had fallen from a support column was on the floor. The outside of all entrance doors had trash and cigarette butts. This was by far the worst rooms and lack of security of any hotel I have ever booked thru Hotels.com Baymount as a brand has dropped the ball with this property."
