Business stop at Östersund

Nice two days business visit at Östersund, hotel is in good spot right in the hard of the town, depite to that it was easy to find free over night place for big van I was travelling.

Noisy !

Asked hotel if the nightclub was operational due to previous bad reviews. They promised me it was closed but on friday and saturday night it was fully functioning till early hours of the morning.

Fint & centralt. Men tyvärr så lät det väldigt illa från ventilationen i badrummet, det hördes ut även med stängd dörr. Det var även hårvax på sänggaveln efter någon hade suttit och lutat sig mot den. Det var förmodligen bara en miss då resten av rummet var fint städat.

Fint på ytan men väldigt opraktiskt

Fint inrett hotell med trevlig personal, men det rum vi fick kändes väldigt trångt och opraktiskt för att vara ett familjerum. Funktion och komfort hade tyvärr flera brister. Plus: +Smakfull inredning och bra materialval. +Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Minus: -Trångt familjerum, hårda sängar och obekväma kuddar. -Dålig ventilation och mycket varmt (ingen AC, värmealstrande kylskåp och golvvärme som inte gick att stänga av). -Endast mörkläggningsgardiner, saknade tunna för insynsskydd men ljusinsläpp.(Vilket hade behövts i och med den undermåliga belysningen) -Väldigt svag belysning i rum och badrum, svårt att göra sig i ordning. -Mycket litet duschutrymme med överdimensionerad takdusch som blötte ner halva badrummet i och med att den halvt hängde över duschdraperiet.

Varma dagar i Östersund

Perfekt läge mitt i stan, nära till allt. Bra städat och trevlig personal. Tyst och ostört. Söderläge gjorde rummet otroligt varmt under de heta sommardagarna och här var det ett par saker som felade. För det första så gick handdukstorken inte att slå av så den öste ut värme i det redan varma badrummet. Sen var det lite tokigt med bara mörkläggningsgardiner. Persienner eller rullgardin hade varit effektivare mot strålvärden från de stora fönstren. Men i det stora hela var det ok.

Kunde varit bättre

Mycket varma rum. Gick inte att öppna det stora fönstret, ingen luftkonditionering. Mycket dålig belysning på rummet var tvugns att be om extra lampor. Bra frukost och fina uteplatser.
