"The hotel appears good from the outside and the lobby, however that is where it ends. The rooms are so tiny that the bed is up against a wall and there was no room for our cases except on the floor taking up the limited floor space. There was an obnoxious continuous odor coming from the tiny bathroom. The safe didn't work and the staff were unwilling or unable to do anything about it. The toilet blocked the first time we used it and when housekeeping came to fix it she yelled "no paper in the toilet". No staff told us about this when we arrived. Housekeeping wasn't done even though we put out the 'make up my room sign'. When we asked why it wasn't done staff replied "we didn't have a key to the room". The only decent thing about this hotel was that the food was passable. We have travelled extensively around the world and rate this the worst hotel that we have ever stayed."

"The restaurant staff was great — friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The rest of the service felt pretty laid‑back, and getting assistance outside the restaurant wasn’t easy. The place itself is quiet and feels private, which is nice, but the food overall is just average with nothing particularly special. We visited the herb garden and the staff there were friendly and knowledgeable, which was a good experience. The biggest inconvenience is the layout. The check‑in counter is extremely far from the rooms. It’s manageable on arrival, but checking out is a hassle because you have to walk a long distance with your bags. They have a golf cart that could easily help guests get to the port, but it just sits in the garage instead of being used. Other than the few standout staff, the overall experience is just okay."

"Staff did not say hello or welcome us politely upon arrival, but did let us check in about 20 minutes early. Later in the day, we returned to the "shack", and noticed there was no hand soap in the bathroom, we asked for the WiFi password, and asked for the remote control to the television. We were then given some confusing excuse that the TV did not work due to compilcations due to the COVID lock down (which as we all know happened about 3 years ago at this point). The story about the unavailability of the TV became the sticking point in the minds of the couple running the hostel. When we tried to reassure the woman that we were disapointed about the TV, but were willing to go without, for some inexplicable reason she pressed the issue and began asking for forgiveness and walked away, only to come back to our room two more times, knocking heavily, insisting on speaking with us on the issue again! My wife asked her to stop disturbing us which she seemed reluctant to do. Finally, my wife felt uneasy after our interaction with the woman and insisted we find another hotel due to the uprofessional behaviour of the couple running the place and the unavailability of hostel staff. I regret leaving this negative review, but honestly do not understand why our experience is so different compared to other reviews here. The husband told me, that if we were not happy, to go ahead and complain to Expedia. I cannot recommend this place. Avoid at all costs, not worth the price or convenience."

"Please don't stay here. You'll get fleas. Pros: Staff are polite and seemed like very nice people. Overall very friendly, respectful, and accomodating with arranging activities in the area, which is awesome! Ocean Front property, AC works. Beautiful ocean view from the front door of the room. Now for the bad. Loudest hotel and area I've ever seen in a hotel. This has actually been one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. Keep mind this wasn't even a weekend. Its a Monday night. Cons: Non-stop noise and music until 2AM, then starts again at 3:45AM. People drinking and partying at the bar that is 30 feet from the front door of the room, and the smoking area with party tables is just right outside, 5 feet from your front door. There are animals everywhere, many stray dogs howling, barking, and fighting at night, ALL night, and into the day. Roosters start about 4AM. Paper thin walls. People talking outside of windows all night long, as they walk past or do stuff very nearby. It never stops, even during the relatively quiet period of 2am-345am. People were working on a car right beside the room, engines start running loudly in the area before 4AM. Trip people sat right outside under my window taking, The surrounding area is a bustling area of activity, so just be prepared if you decide to ignore this review and come here anyway. You'll sleep if you drink heavily. No blankets on bed. Want a blanket? Extra charge for a blanket. Wet bathroom (toilet and shower are the s"
