The unassuming property is on an unassuming street but very close to the central touristy activities. It is spartan, but as a result economical, considering other hotels in the neighborhood. Great to use as lodging to explore Oslo, less so to impress a travel mate. Perhaps the best for a single person spending much time outside. It is, depending on agility and pieces of luggage, even walkable from the railroad station, so late arrival to the airport may warrant getting into the city, rather than spending a lot more money at the airport hotel.
It is on the corner of a busy street and the streetcar on the rails makes a turn there. It get noisy and if the room faces the street I'd assume sleeping with the window open would not be a choice.
The hotel offers a breakfast, but it is meal in a box. Next door is a convenience store that would be much better choice.
