The staff were always super friendly and greeted you with a smile. Good selection of food for breakfast. Excellent location in terms of public transport at Toyen station. Tea amenities good for the evenings. Easy check out process.

Liked: Staff & service
An old building, in a good location, the rooms are good size, runs very warm.
The room was very big and white a balcony. The staff has been very friendly and helpful. Good location of the hotel and relatively cheap hotel. Recommended
Stayed for one night, everything was clean and well taken care of. The only thing that we didn’t like was how loud the doors slam outside of our room. Also there was a homeless lady outside the hotel that began to chase us. But everything else was great.
Just 2 Metro stops from Central Station, and 5 minutes walk from the Metro to the hotel. The hotel was clean, and the staff welcoming. There are a couple of Bars, coffee shops and bakers close by. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Oslo.
I really enjoyed my short stay here! I had a smooth check-in and out! Front desk staff were usually very friendly and helpful! The room was clean, modern, comfortable and had all the basic things I needed! I loved the fact that there was like a food plaza just like less than 5min walking distance from the hotel! I also liked the convenience of transportation, either bus or train, nearby. Bonus points, they offered luggage storage post check-out at no additional cost! Recommended!
Quite literally a top sheet on the mattress. Definitely a cheap stay, but the location was great and very easy to get into downtown Oslo either walking or by train. Not the cleanest either, the exposed mattress also had hair on it, hair in the shower and on the floor.

Its ok. Nothing special. Beds not very comfortable but not the worst. Shower, a little leaky but worked. The woman who works the front desk weekday mornings was rude or at least didn't like me; she kept thinking I was stealing free breakfast even though it was included in my room. The rest of the staff were nice.
Staff welcoming and agreeable, Coffee and tea service lovely, you can make soup, too, if you buy it elsewhere.
Clean
Hard acoustics in hallways, No posted signs asking guests to keep their voices down because of the echo.
Rocker switch in room with red light, asked at front desk what it does, couldn't answer me.
Free luggage storage and they let you hang out, both before and after your stay in the lobby as you are homeless for a few hours between hotels.
Wi-Fi slow at times.
Couldn't figure out how to turn off heater, so eventually just unplugged it. Front desk as baffled as me.
Opening window lets in smoke smell, so shut the window, then opened door. If front desk could ask the smokers to move further down, that would be great.
Nothing really wrong with the place.
Great location for 2 Parkrun's, a bit of a walk to the city centre, but doable.
Room was clean, shower nice and hot with good water pressure.
We would have loved a kettle in our room, this would have tipped us up to 5 stars.
The hotel is 5 min away from the nearest metro station and 2 min away from the bus station. You could also walk to the center on foot.
Our room was spacious and comfy. It had a huge balcony overlooking a quiet neighborhood. It had all the things one can need during her stay.
Our room was clean and we had lots of clean towels.
However, there was hair in the shower and the hair dryer didn’t work.
Other than that it is nice to stay here.
Well, the economy room is really economy. It is small and feels very cold and not like a place where you want to be much longer than necessary. No pictures, no colors, no decoration. Not much to feel comfortable. Bed was fine. There is also no AC, but a fan in the room to get some fresh air. It is also very loud; busy street on the window side, but even worse the heavy doors in the hotel, which are closing very loudly. TV was not working at all, which I normally not use, but during World Cup it would have been nice. Also WIFI connection was very poor in the room.
Room was clean.
What is nice, is the hotel lobby. That really looks good and you feel welcomed there. But this impression already stops at the elevator.
Nice: You get some free water and coffee at the entrance.
Also good it the location close to metro Toyen, which is part of the ring, so you have a good connection to the center.
Overall, I would not book this room again.
An absurd experience.
We knew we had booked a 3-star hotel, but the overall atmosphere felt completely off from the moment we arrived. The lobby was oddly empty, with loud techno music playing, an indoor fountain, and cold air conditioning that made the space feel unwelcoming rather than relaxing.
One of the biggest frustrations was housekeeping. Our room was not cleaned unless we specifically requested it or left a sign on the door. When we did ask, it felt as though we were inconveniencing the staff.
The booking process itself was easy and straightforward.
We tried the breakfast one morning. It was decent, but nothing memorable. The omelet was the only item we particularly enjoyed.
The room was extremely warm throughout our stay. The window could not be fully opened, and the hotel did not provide a fan. The shower was very small and uninspiring, and the room itself felt bland and lacked any sense of comfort or character. With the heat and limited space, it was not somewhere we felt comfortable spending time.
The main advantage of this hotel is its location. It is within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the T-bane, which provides quick access to Oslo city center.
Overall, while the location was convenient, the atmosphere, comfort level, and service made this a disappointing stay.
Nice quiet hotel no aircon in our room but had a fan, bar was well stocked, did not have breakfast, location was very good about 25 min walk to the Opera house
Nice area to stay in as an alternative to the usual city center thing. The place could use a bit of an upgrade, elevator was a bit shaky and buttons that didn't work so well, the door to the room was tough to open and had to be pulled shut, the bathroom door was also a bit hard to close. No AC in the toom, there was a fan but not in the best shape and a bit noisy.
But: room had a balcony which was great, nice view and perfect spot in the sun. Nice bed, decent room for a decent price. Breakfast was ok, small buffet with a bit of everything. I'm vegan though and there were no vegan options as far as I could see. I "cheat" a bit with my diet when I travel but would really have appreciated some vegan alternatives.
All in all, somewhere between a 3 and a 4 for me but I will still probably stay here again.
