「Albergo Sala was a unique experience in the small village of Valbrona. It was quiet and not much to do but that's what we were looking for. The staff were excellent and very helpful and the food was wonderful. The inn is historic and has been in the family for a few hundred years! As it is off the beaten track it is advisable to have a car as public transport is infrequent and challenging and taxi service is quite expensive. Aside from that it was a great place to stay a few days.」

So many things we loved about this charming hotel… the fantastic location across the road from the lake , a first floor balcony that overlooked the town square and a view of lake, clean room and comfy bed. Easy walk to ferry terminal and all the dining options. One of the highlights of this hotel was the infinity roof top pool - we spent every afternoon taking in the view from this wonderful spot. 「We stayed in a junior suite. The whole layout of this suite is strange, just like an old residential bedroom adding with a toilet and living room but doesn’t match the overall style / design at all. The water supply of the basin tub is totally out of control (bathtub was ok) either crazy hot or freezing cold, one way or other!!!
