「Upon arrival, I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled by the hotel because payment had not been received prior to my check in. When I explained to the employee that this reservation was to be paid upon check in at the property, she asked me to show her proof of this condition on Expedia which I did. While Expedia showed my reservation (that I had for weeks) as active, the employe and the manager refused to listen or attempt to understand. They made false statements which included...

「We received a last minute room substitution at this property because we were overbooked at our chosen property. Courtyard room was very clean but you could hear every toilet flush all night long. There was also no free breakfast. You could purchase breakfast at their bistro starting at $15 per person. 」

「There were used towels in bathroom and toilet not flushed upon arrival. The desk clerk offered to move us. We declined. The shower drain was slow so we used those towels to soak up overflow from shower. The beds are getting older now and starting to creak. But the pillows are still the best!」

「The parking lot was full every night. The breakfast was good, but wasn’t getting replenished as fast as people were eating (we were there for a volleyball tournament). The floors in the public areas were wet from kids in/out the pool & no one to mop the floors or put out wet floor signs. Only one ice machine & it’s on the first floor. The room itself was nice & clean. Staff was really nice.」

「This is a quaint motel from about 1947. The room was adequately equipped. Still has original light fixtures and carpeting which is nicely kept.. the carpet has the brands from the ranchers who helped start the motel. It was so quaint. Staff were helpful and were able to answer our tourist questions.」
