This was the best hotel we stayed at in Japan. Check in and check out was quick, the hotel let us store our bags for the afternoon after checkout. The complimentary ramen and ice cream was a lovely surprise and much needed after a long flight. The onsen on the top floor was a relaxing experience. We would definitely stay here again.

The onsen was a perfect way to relax after each day of adventuring! They also provided PJs that were very comfortable and breathable. The front desk was very accommodating and was very eager to help.

Loved the area. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint was there were guests (Moms) with their children utilizing the Onsen. These guests allowed the children to run around, yell, and splash, as if they were at a pool in a park or at home. My understanding is Onsen are for relaxing and meditating and on that particular evening it was not able to. Perhaps the staff needs to monitor that area a little more. Other than that this place was great.

Room is spacious with small bathroom, shower only no bathtub. Pillow is not comfortable and air-cond makes weird knocking noise in the middle of the night. Hotel is at a OK location that you need to catch few metro stops to change to the main line to get to Osaka/Shin-Osaka. This would add an extra 45 mins (return) to your daily travel plan. Hotel offers onsen however it is always crowded between 9pm to 11:30pm.

The property is clean and staff are all Very polite and helpful. But the location is next to a fire or emergency station, and there was 2-3 alarms of the vehicles every night between 11pm - 6am. It affected my family sleep and we were a bit tired after the 5 nights there. The eating area is the same floor as the onsen and it is always busy with plenty of people walking about, going to eat, going to onsen, going to wash clothes, going to eat ice cream… And the nearest train is 450m away and with no elevator or lift, visitors need to find the lift 100m away … Don’t think it is an overall great stay. I love Dormy Inn… Stayed in Kyoto which was perfect. Osaka Dormy Inn not too great. And now going to Tokyo Dormy Inn

second stay at a Dormy hotel and l really enjoyed. The value. Room is clean and well appropriate simple no-frills. staff is courteous and helpful. Love that they have sauna facilities even though i didn't get back in time to use it. I pretty much booked it because of this feature.
