Very welcoming and friendly manager / staff. Clean rooms and very comfortable bed and chairs. Shower was poor (luke warm water which could not be adjusted with poor water flow). Breakfast was acceptable (cereal, toast, boiled egg - not full English). Beautiful outlook across to Hoy with small ferry ...

We stayed for 3 nights as a family of four in one of the apartments. The room was very well presented and had a small kitchen. The food served by the restaurant was delicious. There was an excellent selection of spirits and local beers. The staff very helpful and friendly. Will stay again.

The Albert was an excellent place to stay for 3 days while we went around Okkney Islands. Our room was huge and a view of the ocean! The only possible drawback was parking can be a challenge! But doable.

Very clean and comfortable accom - great to arrive (very late!) to lights and warmth. Very good facilities, private parking (a little tight) and very convenient for ferry to Scrabster and Stromness main street.
