This hotel is extremely dated and unfortunately the walls are so thin you can hear absolutely everything — sneezes, bathroom trips, and full conversations from neighboring rooms. It made the stay feel anything but private (and also made us very aware they could probably hear us too). When we arrived there was a car parked next to us with bullet holes and blown-out windows, which didn’t exactly create the most welcoming or safe first impression. We asked about a refund but since we booked through Expedia we were told that would likely be difficult. To the hotel’s credit, they did upgrade us to another room, which we appreciated. However, the upgraded room still had issues — the bathtub didn’t drain and the water had a pretty unpleasant smell, which made showering less than ideal. The one real upside was having a full kitchen, which was convenient and probably the best feature of the stay. Overall, we appreciated the staff attempting to help by moving us rooms, but the property itself feels very worn down and could really benefit from some serious updates and maintenance.

The resort itself was nice, and the staff were extremely friendly. However, there were several issues during our stay. We had to wash our own towels because housekeeping never replaced them after we requested new ones. Our room also didn’t have any hand soap, so we had to purchase our own. One of the bathrooms in our room didn’t have hot water, which meant we had to stand in the jacuzzi to shower. Since it was on a slant, it was very slippery and uncomfortable. The pool area was also extremely crowded, with nowhere to sit unless you arrived around 9 a.m., and even then many chairs were already being saved. Additionally, some of the older guests at the resort were quite rude. We also had ongoing issues with our key cards—our door kept stopping working, and at one point we had to wait about 15 minutes for security to come and let us back into our room. To make things even more surprising, there was a raccoon in the pool in broad daylight, which was definitely unexpected and concerning. Overall, while the resort had friendly staff and a nice setting, these issues made the stay less enjoyable than we had hoped.

My husband and I visited this location over 5 years ago. We do not remember having any bad reviews at that time. This weekend we were totally disappointed with the hotel. There is nothing that caught our attention that would bring us back to this hotel. The entire hotel looks outdated. The room in which we stayed did have a Jacuzzi, and the kitchen was clean. The blinds in the entrance to the room were too small and we could literally see people walking by. The curtains in the bedroom were too small, we actually had to put the curtain in the night stand in order to ensure no one could see in. To top all of this off. We did not have the ability to watch TV for most of our 1 night stay. We checked in around 4:00 and the TV indicated the Internet service was out. Other guest was outside also expressing their disappointment. We eventually got TV services maybe around 12-1:00 in the morning. We had already gone to bed and was awaken by the sound of the TV😔. I must say we never intend to stay at The Legacy ever again!!!

Self check in was horrible. The line was a mile long with people who are not good with a computer. When they asked for help the lady who was working all by herself said I will help you as soon as I can. Which ment we all wait. When I finally checked in.. I got keys that didn’t work on my room but the room next door. I figured maybe since the key didn’t work maybe my room was B not A… so I tried the door. It worked opened the door dog sleeping on the bed and suitcase on the bed. So back to the office I went explained and they acted like no big deal. So all and all check in took about 1 hour or longer. Lots of waiting in line with issues. Terrible experience.

This property is beyond unacceptable! Pictures are extremely outdated, do not believe what you see on their site. This property is in need of complete and total rehab rehabilitation!

Stayed here overnight. There was no body wash in the shower dispenser, no bar soap to wash hands at the sink, there was a dirty handtowel left in the shower from a previous stay. The air conditioner was not working. Always a challenge to find parking. Not a great experience this time unfortunately.

First off.... the road in the resort needs to be paved. There are potholes everywhere. Next make sure you dont leave you car unlocked or it will be stolen. Good luck getting any whereabouts of your stolen car on camera. Theres only 2 cameras that are on the property other than the onces at the frfont. There are also no cameras at the pool which i find crazy and a liability issue. The rooms are big but everything is outdated and needs a refesh. The sunday we were leaving we saw cleaning people taking stuff that were left in the rooms when people departed and they were either eating it or hoading it in their golf carts. I saw one guy eat a left over donut before he threw the box in the trash. So if you need a cheap placeto stay i highly recommend finding some other place m

⭐️⭐️ Disappointing Experience – Accessibility Request Not Honored I recently stayed at Legacy Vacation Resorts Kissimmee while celebrating my mother-in-law’s 79th birthday, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. I specifically requested a handicap-accessible, downstairs room well in advance due to her mobility needs. When I checked in, I was told that the room number I had been assigned online was given to someone else, and instead we were placed in an upstairs unit, which was extremely inconvenient and stressful given the circumstances. It appeared that our accessibility request was not honored at all. To make matters worse, none of the self-check-in machines were working, forcing guests to wait in a long line. We stood there for at least 30 minutes, largely due to inefficiencies at the front desk and an extended complaint being handled while others waited. The check-in process was very poorly managed. Once in the room, the overall condition of the property was underwhelming. The carpets were dingy, the room had a musty odor, and it was clear the unit was dated and in need of updates. This was not the quality or comfort we expected. Accessibility requests should be taken seriously, especially when clearly communicated ahead of time. Unfortunately, between the check-in issues, the room reassignment, and the condition of the property, this stay did not meet expectations and added unnecessary stress to what was meant to be a special family trip.
