When we arrived the exterior made a promising experience. Instead I felt like it was a painted turd. No kidding. When we arrived there was no early check-in available, fine whatever, but upon check-in time, we were told our room wasn't available--still. Finally, after unloading the car with 5 people ( 3 of which are children) luggage, waiting by the elevator to go to the room, we try to go up the elevator and now we wait longer because the elevators are on "fireman" assistance, so they won't go at all. We eventually do get a ride up--using the maintenance elevator. Entering the room felt relieving ( we drove 16 hours just prior ). Assuming we could use the "restaurant" to order dinner, nope, it's only open certain times, and when I mean certain times, I mean before traditional dinner time, it was a ghost lobby where its located. So, me and the children grabbed snacks in their corner cabinet, it felt like. $37 later for Kraft noodles, a bag of chips and a 20oz soda. 3 days later we needed to do laundry, this is where I got heated. I asked about their machines taking quarters, she said no it doesn't take quarters, it's broken down, I would have to lug 5 peoples 3 days of laundry to the hotel next door, let them know I'm rooming with this painted turd hotel so I can use their facilities. OH which takes debit only! I opted to not do laundry, We checked out the next day to our next destination, thankfully The Marriott said it's FREE laundry! Hyatt was an inconvenient place to me.
