"The room appeared clean; just don’t look too closely. We had to get down on the carpet to look for an earring and it seems they only clean where you can see. They don’t do any underneath cleaning where you may not see it if you look down. The trundle bed mattress was disgusting full of crumbs and dirt, I guess from people sitting on the couch and it never gets opened or cleaned. We didn’t use it. "We have stayed at this Best Western many times and will continue to stay here in the future. The breakfast is normally very good but this time it was subpar. Not a deal breaker but disappointing non the less."

"We have never stayed at Capt Hirams before but always wanted to and it did not disappoint. The staff was helpful. The location can't be beat. The proximity to water, restaurants (multiple up and down the river) was perfect. I stayed over 4th of July with my teen son and it was a great family friendly option. The pool is small but very clean. Our room hadn't been vacuumed or our side tables cleaned when we arrived but the staff took care of it right away the next morning. Be aware, if you...
