Clean, awesome location on the water, good restaurant. They say welcome to paradise, very true, for my make it a happy paradise. Great place to be. All activity is also right on your doorstep. We were there 3 days and we had it all. Quiet, active, good tours and professional people to do it with. We had a wonderful time at the Lamanai Landing.

Yes the room was clean and nice. Their room directions had a list of all the assets in the room and the cost of each if they were stolen. Towels, facecloths, TV, coffee maker etc. it was insulting. And they didn’t provide a coffee maker anyhow. That would have really added to the enjoyment. We could have sat on the balcony overlooking the water and had a morning coffee.

The lake and surroundings exceptionally nice. Rooms clean,,vieuw from the balcony : picture postcard. Staff very helpfull and adequate. Trip to maya ruins over the river was special indeed.

This property will benefit from the owners doing some upkeep the area that you have to park in is ridiculous. The walk is ridiculous and it’s ridiculous because it’s not a clear path you’re walking in mud. If it rains, the grass is not there. It’s not paved the towels in the room should be in the garbage that’s how bad they are. The shower and the sink water just goes everywhere. It needs to be attended to the picture of the room is bigger than the room actually is the TV is the TV for a two-year-old you have four adult guests in your quad room and a TV so small it’s ridiculous. It should be at least a 42 or 52 inch TV.

Room was clean and comfortable with fresh towels every day. We would recommended and stay there again. Roannie was very accommodating and helped us coordinate multiple tours. The restaurant and bar however were inconsistent with different chefs and using different recipes. One evening the alfredo had peppers and onions in the sauce and another evening it didn't. Margherita strength was notably inconsistent as well.

Great stay, perfect spot for booking tours & heading out on the river to Lamanai. A little distance from orange walk town, so more difficult if you’re using public transport..but i had a car and this place was perfect!

Amazing hotel!

The hotel was amazing! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious. The views of the river from our balcony were spectacular. And, it just felt so peaceful sitting at the outdoor palapa-style restaurant/bar, enjoying the quiet air, listening to the birds, and having fun watching for our crocodile friend in the river, lol! We were in room 1A which was on the lower level, closest to the restaurant. It had a nice corner view of the river, just lovely. The bed was comfortable and we had hot water (as opposed to our neighbors who claimed they never got hot water in their shower, so I guess we lucked out!). We booked the Lamanai Mayan Ruin tour through the hotel. They picked us up at their dock right at the hotel which was super convenient in that we didn't have to get transportation to the pick-up spot. The Orange Walk town is about a 10 min drive from the hotel, but the staff was able to get us a taxi to the town so that was a fun day checking out the main town. The ONLY issue I had was the shower situation. It was a smallish corner-style shower with no door or curtain, so water would get all over the bathroom floor after we showered. It made a mess and we had to be careful not to slip on the wet floor after showering. Other than that, everything was great, and we would definitely come back to this hotel!

I love this place by the river. We took a river trip with a guide, Almir and he was the bomb. Food was great.
