「Rooms noisy with noise from other rooms through ventilation ducts and from stairwell area. Only decaf in both of our rooms, and really no service off hours. Decent shower. Rooms on small end despite the price. Wonderful location. So-so hotel. 」

「Well, the room is kind small but it is clean to live. Need to use shared bathroom, but it is clean. There are not too many facility in the kitchen, but it is still ok to have some simple food. And I think it located in the most beautiful of the city. Overall, it is a good place to stay with it price. : )」

「Das Einchecken passiert alles online. Man muss genau in seine Buchungsunterlagen gucken, dann findet man alles. Für das Parken muss man sich ein bisschen umsehen. Das ist nicht ganz so einfach. Zumindest wenn man es kostenfrei haben möchte. Das Zimmer war ordentlich und sauber. Leider hatte ich relativ laute Nachbarn, welche meinen Schlaf etwas gestört haben. 「Good location. just 3 mins walk to Old Town. Parking fee around 14 Euro per night, reasonable. We stayed in Room with sea view, Room and Bathroom were large, comfortable stay! Breakfast buffet was great with various selection. We choose the seat at outdoor with tent covered. We enjoyed the seaview so much」

「A hotel is about a half a mile walk to the beach. It is in a very industrial part of town.The room was small, but very efficiently laid out. The AC was not turned on yet, so the room was a bit stuffy. With the room window open, there was some breeze, but no security for the ground floor room. 」

「Sehr schöne Unterkunft bei der vor allem der Service stark positiv hervorgehoben werden muss. Pool war ausreichend und die Aussicht der Hit. Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen das macht das gesamte Resort aber wieder weg. Alles in allem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen und vor allem die herzliche Art der Mitarbeiter war sehr angenehm. Wir würden als Familie wieder kommen und haben den Urlaub sehr genossen.」

「Small “hotel” in front of a busy main road. Enough to eat close enough. Cafeteria downstairs and an Indian restaurant adjacent. Our room backed up to another room behind the headboard. It was like having a roommate. We could almost understand his conversation while he was on the phone. The main attractive to this property is the price. The room had an iron but no ironing board. There was a hair dryer in the bathroom. The window opened to overlook a flooded indoor courtyard. The wall...

「I suppose the kindest thing to say is that The Monkey Room is a "work in progress". The hotel/hostal is right in the centre of Marbella Old Town and although it sets out in adverts to be "chic" and "cool" it has a long way to go. While I was there a workman was on site preparing another cubby hole as a bedroom and I think my room was only half-finished. The nights were cold and only a single sheet covered the bed and, after moving my room to the one in the photo (instead of on the roof) I found...
