Positive points: The staff is really helpful! And very professional! The ladies from the SPA were amazing and very helpful and the security guys at the entrance also! (A big thanks to them) Negative points: My stay was disrupted due to a very noisy neighboring guest. There was loud music during the night, and shouting in the hallway. Unfortunately, when I reported the issue and asked for assistance, I was told that no immediate solution could be provided. As a result, I had to change rooms myself, which was quite disappointing !! Things to be improved: (immediately) The cleanliness is terrible! The carpet needs to be cleaned. I believe it has never been properly cleaned, as there are visible dirt marks and a lot of dust. The bathroom, especially the bathtub, should be cleaned every day. The restaurant café / bar area also needs thorough cleaning, including the carpet and the chairs. There is a strong smell of cigarettes, and the air should be disinfected or properly ventilated, as many people smoke and it affects the overall atmosphere. Additionally, in the hallway leading to the rooms, even though the floor is designated as non-smoking, there is cigarette smoke everywhere. Sometimes the smoke even enters the rooms, which is very uncomfortable. The gym is tiny and poorly equipped ! With one big machine and light dumbbells (a 2 stars hotel gym to be honest)

The staff at the hotel went over and above international standards to make our stay an unforgettable experience. The hotel offers a soft ambience set in luxury with a old world charm that is truly unique. I would highly recommend this hotel above all other hotels in Oran.

Ac was not working in our room. Front desk said they would send a technician but they never did. Other than that the facility was okay! I wouldn’t say it should be a 5 start I would give it a 4 or 3 star. Breakfast had some weird selections, wasn’t very edible.

bel hôtel de centre ville Mais pas familial, plutôt femme/ homme d affaires pour 1 ou 2 nuit . Hôtel fumeur salon de thé plutôt salon de café /boisson et cigarette Moquette au sol très sale Bon petit déjeuner Dîner hors de prix pour ce que c’est et pas de tarif enfant . Enfin voilà bien pour 1 ou 2 nuits pas plus.

I had booked a week-long stay at this hotel, but due to unforeseen changes in my travel plans, I requested to reschedule my reservation for a later date. Unfortunately, the hotel refused my request and also declined to issue a refund. This lack of flexibility and customer service has been very disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel for travelers seeking considerate and accommodating service

Le plus bel Hôtel en Algérie

L’Hotel Royal est un bijou en Algérie! Il faut absolument y passer au moins une nuit pour le comprendre. L’hôtel est très beau et très propre. Je recommande fortement!

Classic hotel with perfect location

A very nicely kept hotel. Basic elegance. Bar available. Spa and gym closed during pandemic. Ordinary breakfast with limited structure to the service organisation (many staff, limited outcome). Very good bed. Rooms were kept perfectly. Air port shuttle can be ordered in advance. Limited use of the reception desk when in need of PCR laboratory on a Friday (find excellent service at Laboratoire Belarbi), when in need of advise about a cash point accepting international bank cards (refer yourself to BNP, far away but it’s the only one working), or when in need of tourist recommendations. Order a quality taxi at the reception or take the usual ones at the street. Closest good restaurant is La Cintra on the same street. The Fort Santa Cruz is easily available by taxi. Royal hotel will definitely be my choice on my next visit.

Staff aux petits soins!

Excellent séjour! Le staff est aux petits soins et vraiment à l’écoute du client. Séjour idéal au cœur d’Oran, dans un hôtel de charme encore dans son jus. Le check-in était un peu lent, mais l’hôtel faisait face à un grand afflux pour le soir du réveillon.
