JR Kyushu Station Hotel Kokura
It was so convenient on a rainy day to return my rental car and check in to the hotel even in the rain. Then next day bullet train to Okayama also without getting wet on a rainy morning. Great section of restaurants inside the station building and beyond.

The room was exactly what I needed, just a place to stay while I visited. I loved that they had a washer, that way I was able to pack light. A lot of food and grocery stores were in walking distance.
