A special surprise was being upgraded to a larger room, it was such a lovely gesture, especially as we were celebrating our 10-year anniversary (which the hotel didn’t know about!). "The hotel is right across the street from the train station in central Gothenburg. There is a large shopping mall a 3 minute walk away (Nordstan) and one of the main shopping districts (Kungsgatan) is only 5. The rooms are a bit small, but that’s typical for most of Europe. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast is incredible. "
