In addition, I was very peased with meals in this hotel's restaurant. You can eat not only local foods but also Indian and Chinese ones. I can reccomend this hotel with confidence.」

「The Green Elephant is stunning. Conveniently located (if you have transport) for getting around Lilongwe but not directly in the middle. The staff are relaxed, friendly and professional and helped every day. They made me special vegetarian options on request, and let me help myself to other foods. The furnishings are top notch. There is lots of shared space around the place, and the only distractions are the noisy birds in the morning! Amazing hotel. If I could want for one thing, it would be...

My quiet, restful and beautifully appointed studio had its own mini kitchen and separate bedroom upstairs, so it was more like a small house. And the onsite bar and restaurant and extensive grounds were a delight. I will definitely return.」
