the entire Jewish Quarter is interesting and we enjoyed our stay. However, it was a bit disconcerting to learn that all of Krakow has under 250 Jewish people, so all or almost all the Jewish places of worship, museums, restaurants, music, and other sites of interest are operated by non-Jews. Also, the promotion of Auschwitz as an attraction to visit just as one would visit the Salt Mines or even an amusement park was a jarring and felt inappropriate.
We recommend Tempel Synagogue near Old Synagogue. The interior of Tempel synagogue is so beautiful.
